Get a DVI to HDMI Adapter from amazon for like a quid, it's the same digital signal, just no audio.

If you are going to use the monitor on a PC then you don't need an HDMI adapter.
If you want to also plug your games console or TV box into it then you can if you buy an adapter for £1 to £2.
You can also buy a cable which has HDMI at one end and DVI at the other - and costs no more than most HDMI to HDMI cables. e.g. the Amazon basics vsn of this cable is £4.99 or £5.99
If using for games console or TV then you will need some speakers or sound setup to get the audio.
