Thought this was cheap for a trip to the cinema to see Rogue One: A Star Wars Story over the Christmas holidays.
There are other Light Cinemas around the UK running other offers but the Bolton one was the best I could find.
Other Light Cinemas are New Brighton; Wisbech; Cambridge; Walsall; Thetford; new ones opening soon in Stockport; Dundee; Sheffield

Can't see any info on that, but looking at the layout etc I'm assuming stanadrd large size https://bolton.lightcinemas.co.uk/experience You can even drink in the cinema whilst watching the film!!

I'm intending to go while this offer lasts. It's £5 for on-line booking for any performance, but all films are only £5 before 12pm, even if you don't book on-line. Went to see Fantastic Beasts in November, the seats are sooo comfortable!

This is a small but clean and pretty new cinema. Don't go expecting a full on audio visual experience though

It's still only a fiver for any 3D movies there B4 12pm as well !! We saw Fantastic Beasts there a few weeks back and it's a great new cinema

Been here worth its money but imo the screen is not upto quality of vue seats are better tho

The seats are comfortable and the car park is free
Also if you buy a large soft drink or large popcorn you can get refills
Plus you can take alcohol drinks into the screens as they are all licensed
Plus if you get an infinity card (go as many times as you want) for £16.99 you get 25% off food and non alcoholic drinks

Might sound stupid but quite often seeing deals on here for Cinemas in England saying that £5,£6 etc really cheap. Here in N.Ireland normal price is £4.80-£6 depending on cinema and 2D/3D/MAXX screen (unless going VIP) for an Adult at the weekend. At least we have one thing that is cheaper than mainland UK!
Even our most expensive would be £13 Weekdays £17 Weekends and that is for VIP 40 seat cinema, recliners from a 1st class airline, free popcorn,free drink, free coffee/tea in the "lounge" before the movie and free car parking (normally you pay at that cinema as a shared surface site outside)

Wouldn't say truly awful, but very disappointing imho. Also the first and last time I watch a movie in 3D. May well have rated film a little higher if I had seen in traditional 2D. I did really enjoy The Force Awakens, thought there was a good balance of old and new. In Rogue One though, I just didn't warm to the characters,..... Well maybe a couple;)

It was rushed in the character development for sure, though as a standalone movie ANH suffers/ed the exact same problem.
I felt R1's plot was sound, as was its direction; I enjoyed it a hell of a lot more than the nonsensical garbage that was TFA.
