Just to expand on this. It's currently £22.39 for a £25 top up from CDKeys which would give you a remaining wallet of £3.01 for 40p extra initial payment in comparison.
Or £18.05 for the £20 top up, you'd obviously need to add the £1.99 but it would bring the price to £20.04.
Always been a buy and sell man but these days I find having to change discs far too much effort...

Same. Nothing better than having a few drinks on a Friday night and being able to freely alternate between Rocket League, Pro Evo, Battlefront, GTA V etc without having to get up and change discs each time. Worth the excess price and loss of resale value for the convenience alone in my opinion.

CEX give £28 credit for the physical version of this. If you have a GAME or Grainger Games nearby they will match the trade in value. Spend the credit on PSN vouchers and you have the digital version with a fiver PSN credit left over.

I've always been unsure on this. I only played the first one briefly & didn't think much to it. I had just finished uncharted though which was stunning. Is it worth getting?

I really enjoyed the first one and this is even better. They've taken the good bits from the first (like crafting, XP etc), mixed in a bit of Uncharted 4 (graphically it looks amazing) and made it all feel like one of the old Tomb Raiders on the PSX. The only thing missing for me is it playing the little "secret found" sting tune thing when you find a secret bit!

Can anyone who buys this today confirm if Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is still included? (i pre-ordered Rise so got DE before Rise released, but not sure if you get it now).
Looks like we could be having "12 Days of Christmas" deals on the odd days of the month again. Yay! C'mon sub £30 Battlefield 1.

Doubtful, no mention of it in the blurb and they surely wouldn't let it go with the new game for this price?

Cool, thanks for confirming. It was obviously a pre-order bonus for Rise then. I just wondered if they kept it indefinitely that's all. Looks like the same has happened to Dishonored 2 (i've not bought that, but that used to say 'Free Dishonored: Definitive Edition' and it doesn't now).

Not a bad price but digital should be half the price of physical imo.
You can get it physically for £25 from Amazon Prime, or £20 if you use Amazon Prime Now for the first time and use a £5 code. Then just sell the copy when done and at least make your money back...

Agreed, the last time I really bought any physical games was during the last generation. Digital all the way now. With the Quidco CD Keys cash back offer, this cost me a smidge over £15.
CASFAN73
1 Dec 162#48
That's a pretty daft reason to vote a deal cold lol. A deal is either hot or cold depending on whether it's cheaper than you can get the exact same product elsewhere. A digital product is not the same product as a physical one (regardless if it's the same game). I have 3 PS4's so to be able to access the game on any of the consoles, whenever I want and to be able to use the game simultaneously of two of the consoles makes digital a far better proposition. I also have around 180 digital PS4 games and including those bought by my game share buddy on Xbox One, a further 150 or so digital Xbox One games. Most have cost very little (using deals, buying from other regions etc.) and I have full access to my entire library across my 2 XB1s and 3 PS4s.
This deal is actually £10 cheaper for me anyway as I bought a load of credit from CD Keys using both the £25 quidco cash back and Facebook code. Bargain

This is easily in my top 10 games of the current generation. The controls are spot on, the graphics amazing and the story is pretty decent too (I think 90% of games have poor story/narrative - so quite a feat!). I have no hesitation in recommending but I would buy and play the first game before this as this advances the gameplay and is more refined. In my opinion - not to cause an argument - these are better than Uncharted series as I find them fun but repetitive. I was never a fan of previous Tomb Raiders but these two are very impressive and a lot of fun.

25% cashback . I bought £150 worth of vouchers, which cost £131.07 after using the FB code. Cashback (which has tracked and is due 11th December) was 25% of £131.07 - showing as £32.75. Which I'd bought more now. Works out that (if you include the cash back) £150 cost me £98.32 (around 65.5%).
Therefore this game has actually cost me around £14.40

What share of the market trade-in or re-sell games? 5%? I'd be surprised if it was any higher than that. It's a small niche.
I doubt Sony / any publisher consider at any level whether the ability to trade-in would affect the perceived value of digital vs physical.
I'd also be surprised if more than 10% of buyers ever looked at the art book. Again, it's very niche: of great interest to enthusiasts; of little to no value to the mass market.

I do this for most games now. Have recently picked up Dishonored 2 (£20 physical with one of my Pros), F1 2016 (around £16 digital), TF2 (around £20 digital), Skyrim Remastered (around £16 digital), Ratchet & Clank (around £10 digital). If it's a game that I've really been waiting for, then I'll just buy it for the best price I can get at launch, but with most games, I'm happy to just wait a few weeks until they can be had for around the £20 mark.

The first one was better than uncharted imo. This one I got on release day xb1 but could only play about 2 hours. Gathering dust since. So if you disliked the first, you probably wouldn't like this.
This, along with the PC version are way better than the Xbox version.
For the simple fact that these 2 platforms don't suffer from the control latency issues that the Xbox one version does.
For whatever reason, the studio who ported the game to PS4 and PC decided to fix the issue, but the original dev hasn't patched the Xbox version.
