Not voted either way. But still a lot of money for a wired controller!
Hopefully will drop to £25 in a sale like the PS3 MGS one did

Do you think this controller has been designed with eSports in mind

What is the RRP?
I'm quite happy with my Hori PS4 controller for now but would consider this in a sale. Not at £90 though. Not voted but if this is RRP then cold.

I'll wait for the other 'like Xbox Elite' controller for PS4. Looks better imo and some fresh brand making it, so should go cheaper then Razor. However this one may be alright as soon as the price drop down.
Nice finding anyway, I expected >£100 for it.
Shopto also selling this. Works out cheaper if you're a silver (3% discount) or gold (5% discount)member!
Worth checking on there, I spent more than I thought I had on there and am silver until March.

I just want one where the rubber doesn't peel off the thumbsticks after five minutes.

you can change the thumbsticks like I did to nice ones that don't peal off. also looks a bit like the elite controller in my opinion.

I'll just write esports on my DS4 with a felt tip.

This looks a lot better than the Razor controller and is cheaper too. However £90 is still way too much. I will stick with the DS4 for now.

Sorry, but since the Sega-Nintendo console war, I've never been a fan of unofficial controllers.

I always have said I prefer the xbox controllers, looks like playstation are beginning to agree.. not starting a debate just personal preference..

It's made by a 3rd party.

I agree. they have finally realised that not everyone can hold a controller sized for a child.

Would've thought about buying this if the left stick wasn't top left. Why on earth would they do that!?

Defo, Ive went from a Xbox 360 to a PS4 and I HATE the controller. Thumbs slip off the sticks and feels funny them both being on the bttm. I wish I could use a Xbox one controller with the PS4 :disappointed:
it sucks that there are no cheap 3rd party ps4 controllers. a decent wired controller for around £20 would be great

Controller looks great though not sure about the D-PAD. Plus, being wired means no lag.

Wired only for XBONE on PS4 by the looks of it (i.e. if it is wired and wireless it is stated).
And it's out of stock.
Still, I've dithered over this before so I may get one when they come back in stock.

I went from 360 to PS4, had to sell the PS4 because I just couldn't get used to the DS4.
If I still had a PS4 I would be all over this controller, wired or not.

All this fanboy trash regarding the controllers.
If your thumbs are slipping off a DS4 thumbstick you must have some sort of deformity of your thumbs. I've used xbox 360 controllers, Dualshock 4 and the xbone controller all with equal proficiency. You're just kidding yourselves to suit your fanboy mentality.
Prefer the look, layout and price of this controller over the Razer variant but not sure if it's a deal.

So are Sony still not going to make one then? I'm surprised that we have 3rd party ones coming is all

I don't understand, this is a mediocre attempt at a gaming spec controller and it's selling at the RRP. How is it a deal?

I think these were designed to be similar to be like the Xbox 360 /one controllers which are way better then PS4

Well considering these types of controllers are unquestionably the most popular (fan boy stuff aside, I just like games) then you are surely in the minority with that thinking.

will this work on PC? I've looked for info on the net but couldn't find any reference to PC support

It still looks more similar to the PS4 controller than the Xbox controller. I have an Xbox One Elite controller and the sides aren't as long and narrow as they are on this design which means that your fingers wrap comfortably around the back of the controller whilst also fitting in your palm

In retrospect I can't recommend this controller at a £90 price point.
It has the basic shape and layout of the Xbox pad but a few niggles or design flaws stop it from me being able to consider it a premium product/controller.
The shoulder buttons/triggers are angled making for an unfamiliar or uncomfortable grip. The controller does not wake the console from sleep mode and the share button is inaccessible due to the position of the left thumbstick.

Quite like mine, after playing with the normal ps4 pad I always prefer to go back to the revolution now.

what exactly is the benefit of this controller over normal dual shock 4 , and why is it so expensive ?
