Is it just online only? I've been tempted by this for yonks, but I'd only be bothered by a single-player campaign (in the short-term, at least...)

Waiting for this to drop cheap digitally, was hoping for the complete edition or at least last year's gold but I believe that's been discontinued on the store now. Fingers crossed for the Xmas/Jan sales.

Online really... there is offline tutorial. But focused online. Worth every penny.

There's terrorist hunt that you can solo, but that's not a campaign. If it makes any difference, if you just play the casual playlist online no-one talks so you don't have to worry about social interaction. I play solo and love it. If you want to play ranked, be prepared to talk to strangers unless you have 4 friends to play with.

As others have said I wouldn't get it for single player but don't be afraid of playing online solo, it has some idiots but 8/10 I always have fun win or lose.

Cheers guys. Will give it a think, I reckon. Sounds really good fun, like CounterStrike without being a bit rubbish these days. Got so many games to get through, I think I'll rest easy for now and pick it up if/when I "need" it :smile:

Play with Montagne, flush out the bombers, then pick off the normal baddies by just killing them when they're reloading. Realistic is very doable like that :smiley:.

Brilliant game. I find myself coming back to it again and again. Reminds me a lot of counter strike source from back in the day! It also has fantastic support from the development team, lots of updates, free maps and characters etc. There's even a new free map being released today (the fifth free map!).

I know :disappointed: Was holding out for the Gold of some sort though. Already own it on PC with both season passes so it'd be double dipping. Don't really want to double dip on those too.

Honestly don't even hesitate about buying it at this price, it is a fantastic game and i keep coming back to it over BF1 and Gears 4
Community is great and it's supported well by the devs with constant updates and new map and operators every 3 months...

I dunno, I've bumped into plenty of chatty people on casual, many of whom I then went on to play ranked with. That's on PS4 in North America mind. Though if you join a UK/EU community it's usually easy to find English speakers with mics too.

Oh yeah I'm sure that if you made the effort to talk then people would get involved too, it's a great community. My point was only that if you're not a fan of talking, you can still enjoy casual.

This games that good for me, that after pre ordering it last year on the ps4, having the season pass and then getting addicted to it, I've gone for the year 2 pass, and I'm even thinking of getting it on xbox 1 lol. You get the old rainbows in the xbox version I believe. I still have one of those but lost the other.

Those older rainbows have good campaigns on. And at £12.99 this R6S is worth its weight in gold plus more. Only game I can't put down these days
