What all these 'Sales' of the so called 'Luxury' brands show, is that there is no point buying those bags at full price, as the retailer's margins are insane. Even when they sell something at 50% off, they are still making a profit and not a loss.

Yeah but the point is that some of these 'luxury' brands need to figure out that they are not as high-end as they wish to be. Rather than do a lot of sales, maybe it's worth reducing prices, selling bigger quantities and not to do any sale?! Just a thought :smiley:

Except you're not realising that, were everyone able to buy them, they wouldn't still be considered a luxury brand.

And if that's what your brand and it's marketing is built upon, you'd be running your entire operation into the ground.

Luxury brands don't need to do frequent sales, because those who can afford it, will pay what it takes.
