yep always go by Tesco website and not the labels on the shelf. Sometime I think local managers keep tickets off to up margins. That or staff are simply lazy. The larger stores are normally much better at pricing up goods correctly.

I've just bought 4 for £4 in my local extra, Hoyland Barnsley, scanned as £1.50 each but came off the total at the end like it always does in Tesco. Quick tip, in my Tesco they didn't have any on the shelves with the xmas chocolates but got mine from the normal sweet aisle, lots there, so if you're having trouble finding them try there.

Just got 4. Said to the woman next to me, dreadful isn't it, bloody Brexit and all these prices going up! She laughed and then said she'd been into Aldi and picked up their mag and their Super 6 veg etc is just 19p each! from Sunday. God it's so difficult now, so much cash to spend.

In our local express but very small boxes.

They are 265 gms, = 530gms for 2 quid = CHEAPER than the plastic tubful.

In effect if you buy 2 (TWO) tubs 1500g (7 quid) you are paying a quid extra for the plastic tub and losing 90gms of Quality Street as well!
Even worse deal if you buy 1 tub at 4 quid.

Tesco Fleets Corner Poole. I just picked up the last one in the seasonal section and the last one in the sweet section to get the final pair in the shop. When stocked there is less than one shelf of them in each section but at least they were marked-up at 2 for £2.

I saw the same thing in my store earlier £1.50 each (no offer) on shelf,
went back home read the comments on here and went back out a 2nd time
and scanned 2 packs and it was 2 for £2 when paying :smiley: .

You shouldn't always trust the shelf edge labels.

The other deal for the Celebrations boxes were price marked as £3 in Swansea Marina Tesco, but scanned at £1.50.

This is why I love Tesco's Scan As You Shop - ideal for checking misprices and making sure offers are being applied. The screen shows you straight away what the cost of the item is and what offers have been applied.
