This 'product' really is the triumph of marketing over reason!
I would NEVER buy it - would rather throw a pound coin in the street.
Want to give your cat some gourmet 'soup', for free? Add a tablespoon of warm water to their wet cat food, and stir...watch them lap up the 'soup', and lick their lips!

Cat soup? What on earth? Next we'll be giving them a blue rinse and sitting them down at the table in dining rooms to eat it out of the bowl -I won't say with a spoon (let's not be ridiculous) - although my cat likes to eat ON the table and eat MY food out of MY bowl. I don't think I've made this point very well. Humph (I think).

all 3 of my cats eat from my plate and spoon, doesn't bother me (but only when allowed, they are not badly behaved). I tried the Sheba soup and there was no soup, it was rank looking chicken in a grey gravy and very little of it. However the packet shows an orange broth. Dubious to try any other brand. I make them 'chicken soup' by slicing chicken small and steaming in the microwave in some water. Also do the same with fish. Much cheaper and simple

Purina make dreadful food, Bakers Go cat etc. The ingredients in this: Fish and Fish Derivatives (of which Natural Tuna Loins 20%), Molluscs and Crustaceans (Shrimps 4%), Derivatives of Vegetable Origin - 24% fish 76% crap

Those are the only ingredients though. As the pic shows, it's basically meat/fish in water/soup. To describe the product as "with tuna and shrimp" a minimum of 4% each of tuna and shrimp are needed, it does not mean there is only 24% fish in there and "76% other" as can be shown by the ingredients. With a protein content of 75% when you exclude the water, there has to be a fair amount of fish, definitely more than 24%.

These really are a ripoff, even at this price.
All 8 packets probably aren't even equal to 1 tin of tuna.

Unless your cat has a weight problem or no teeth, why on earth would anyone choose to feed it 'soup'? Surely it's just a way for the manufacturer to cut costs, i.e. less density of meat / stuff of nutritional value, replaced by more water... :man:

Word of warning.
I didn't realise at first but this is a complementary food i.e. a treat and/or should not be given exclusively so no it won't be nutritionally complete for them. There is plenty of meat/fish in there as the ingredients only have basically meat, fish, veg.
