First post so please forgive any mistakes but this looks to be a very good price from Smyths for the non-GOTY Edition of The Witcher 3.
Collection available at various stores, except Bournemouth, Bolton and Barnsley from the ones I've checked and NOT available for delivery.
From a quick scan I see that both Belfast stores, Bangor, Blackburn, Bury and Blackpool stores definitely had stock when I looked. Worth a check on their website for your local store as it might make a good present for a very good game.
Good luck!

make sure you play it right up against the screen to read the ridiculously small text. even when it's on large font. ruined it for me. and it was played on 50 in tv 10 feet away.

To represent reasonable value this would really have to be a tenner or less given the supreme value of GOTY version.
Not sure I could even recommend it as a taster to save a fiver as the resale value of GOTY will hold up better too.
Few months ago this would be hot from me but now brrrr

In addition, it's worth buying the GOTY just to avoid the huge patches/updates which have been released.

The DLC content is bigger than the majority of full price games too, you'll be missing out on hours upon hours of gameplay.

Tough crowd! It might help someone out and save them a fiver! As it was my first post, I hadn't thought of the reasons why someone wouldn't want a cheaper version but will consider before I post in the future. Thanks for the thoughts/comments!

Sadly this was never a burning hot deal (with the goty currently at £20). As others have pointed out for £5 more you can get the same game with £20-30 more content added in.
Here you would be losing out a ton more for the sake of a fiver. I won't vote either way, but it's not a deal worth arguing or defending till your last breath.
My opinion go for the game of the year for £5 more. You'd make closer to your money back on the resell.

Not at all! The fact it's new helps.

Fair comment but if it's for a present, would you really mind!? That's what I wanted a copy for

Yup! Not to mention CEX are currently offering a 23 GBP voucher for the GOTY edition, ha!

For a fiver just buy the goty it's worth more when you want to sell it.

Heat from me.
Some folks may just be looking for a cheap price to get a taste of The Witcher 3 and may not be too interested in the additional GOTY content (which for a few quids is really worth!).
EDIT: GOTY Edition may be worth the extra when selling the same. So keep that in mind folks!

Giving it heat, but the extra £5 for the GOTY edition would be my recommendation.

Thank you! I agree but might be good for an Xmas present as it's less money to fork out and it might be good if you're not sure if it would be a game you'd enjoy maybe!?
