The Ultimate Edition (£24.99/£22.32) is the base game and the season pass. The Season Pass (£15.99) is obviously the Season Pass or you can just grab the base game for £11.99.
All would need to be downloaded on your husbands PlayStation account

Hello!
Yeah, it can be quite confusing, even for regular gamers!
Battlefront: the core game, including 10 multiplayer modes, but not much in the way of single player content.
Battlefront Deluxe: includes a few extra weapons, as far I'm aware.
Battlefront Ultimate: includes all the extra game modes and whatnot.
So in theory, Battlefront + Season Pass = Battlefront Ultimate.
Hope that makes sense

The days of gaming was so much easier when you bought the disc and that was it... The whole game, everything!
So, as above a bit confused by it all. I have the basic game on disc. Haven't purchased any of the downloadable content and my Playstation Plus has just expired.
Am I correct in thinking that I just need the season pass to get access to all of the downloadable content?? Is that 'forever' or only for 12 months?

No, never had that before on PS4, but another thing I can't stand is not being able to quit a game while you are in the screen where it tells you your score after the game. The game always hangs if you try to quit there. The only way is to close the game completely or wait until you are in the next game and then quit. Hope they fixed it in the recent patch.

All you need is a PSN account. You can create an account on-line and then log onto that account on the PS4 come Christmas Day OR if your kids already have a PSN account (on PS3) you can log into it on-line and buy whatever you want. If your kids already have a PSN account on PS3 then they will more than likely want to use it on their PS4.
If I buy this DLC, I know my son can play it on my PS4 with his own account, but he's getting his own PS4 at christmas, so will he be able to play it on that, if I also put my account on that new PS4 (his will be the primary account)?
