Looking at the codes in the lower right of the "take this to the till" ticket, the last 5 digits for the game match the code on the receipt, but the console code is different. I wonder if the other code might be for the slim console but someone messed up?

This is obviously an old shelf edge label in the wrong place, either by mistake or a chancer trying to get Tesco to honor a pricing that's not actually very specific. Take the slip to the till say it said £250 and complain about it. I assume when the OP originally went to the till they rung it in at the higher price and he pointed out the price on the shelf? Then Tesco probably did the reductions. What should usually happen then is that Tesco would take that £249.99 label away and put the correct price in there.

I've seen a couple of Tesco stores with the wrong price in the ps4 pro but they have always been out of stock. If you do find one with the wrong price label then just mention Tesco double the difference if overcharged policy. You could then potentially get it for about £120 you would make yourself very unpopular with the staff though.

as stated the SEL is real, no typo and was the deal for black friday from the end of November. Tescos confirmed the price and bundle on the phone and say " lucky if any store has it at that price and will not be on display"and need to ask as a old deal.

FYI - There were no officail Pro bundles either so the game won't be in the box as you stated in you other post, that was slim bundles only.

This is not a deal it's a price label intended for the ps4 1tb that is not clearly different enough for the sales guys and they have put it next to the advertising POS for the ps4 pro 1tb. Some people may have got lucky and the muppets in Tesco haven't put 2 and 2 together, buts it's not something anyone should go expecting to find, as they aren't selling it for this price.

im only telling you want 2 people have told me on he phone. i called up tescos, said cant be ordered online as bundle is removed of site. only a few stores will have it and the sel code is PRO and game for £249.99

even if you try (as was asked to do) basket the game and the pro and the promo code (sel) should lower the price. BUT as out of stock cant be checked. Even just had a manager of tescos on the phone. i said cant you do a whole search for this bundle stock like pc world ect. Was told "NO, we can only do store by store" he then got rude when i said feedback that that users my want to know what stores have stock without calling each one.

most people buy home console to play game not watch movies, with sony announcing over 50 million ps4 console sold to customer as of today shows my point.

I don't know why people keep comparing the PS4 Pro with Xbox One S, people buy consoles for gaming right? Xbox One S only introduces HDR to gaming which is no different to the standard PS4 now. PS4 Pro brings 4K gaming and game enhancements at 1080p.

Both consoles are great but no one would be upgrading their Xbox One to a Xbox One S unless they are after UHD BluRay, and by the sounds of it if rumours are true your need to remortgage your house to own a Xbox Scorpio when they are out.

What I need to ask the staff on Tesco to check if they still have this offer? Have any code or something like that? Anyone tried Tescos in London?

If its the console no one wants why are you trolling this post? the stock PS4 is more powerful than the Xbox the Pro destroys it. Ive had a PS4 Pro since launch and at the minute there's not a lot of 4K games but that will change as time goes on and developers learn to leverage the 2.4 times the power over the standard one. You only have to look at the quality of games on the 360 when launched compared to how they looked near the end, totally different. As for the Xbox one S no body in their right mind is going to upgrade the standard Xbox one just for HDR unless they must have a UHD Bluray drive, me for one i still have a launch one and see no point in wasting £200 if i wanted to watch movies id get a proper player a consoles for games not movies.

This was manually reduced. 1. The price was wrong on the shelf/poster 2. They kicked off, threw a tantrum that they want a newer for the same price as a slim. 3. New starter thought they picked up a slim and reduced it down so they didn't have to admit to the mistake.

As in the PRO console. It's the first foot they've put wrong since the PS3 launch. They will lose money on this model when they have to slash it to near the normal model. There's hardly anything to play in 4K and devs will not patch older games without being paid.

Not a bad price considering the rrp so heat added. Personally I wouldn't even pay £200 for it though to be honest.

As for patched games there were 30+ titles at launch. I guess you don't know any games developers if you think they don't want to utilise better hardware for their games.

They're compared as they compete, I agree with you regarding the 4K, but the PS4 Pro struggles to render 4K with a decent frame rate. I dunno, I just feel a little disappointed that the Pro was such a lame update but at least we have something 4K to connect to our 4K HDR TVS now :smiley:

I managed to get one from the Irlam Tesco store (7.45pm 8/12) It was bundle #3, same as the picture from the Beeston store earlier on this page and it went through at £239.99. The guy that served me said he wasn't sure it was still available and he knew it had been on HUKD but it scanned at the low price. The £289.99 cancelled item on the receipt was because the guy scanned the wrong barcode code from the 1TB slim version first.

I laugh at you PC fan boy. I'm a PC gamer and since I got my PS4s it allows me to play co-op games with the missus for far less than buying 2 pcs for the same job. The visuals arn't really that much better unless your spending the price of a ps4 on a graphics card alone.
