It's 80% Criterion as other smaller studios merged.
Though the open world nfs are far less popular than the ones by Black Box.
Also what the point of EA access given these prices in sales!

I got it on EA Access and didn't like it. Doesn't hold up compared to the Criterion NFS titles.
Worth taking a stab at it for six quid though.

No it doesn't. The newer NFS game from last year requires constant connection, Rivals does not.

Purchased. Owned it years ago on disc and have been looking to buy again for my son to enjoy. Thanks

Does anyone know if this requires a constant internet connection to play?

Yup, the one you can't pause. It's bloody annoying. Bought on PS4 launch and got rid not long after. This is the cheapest it's been but it highlights that the PS4 is sorely missing a Forza Horizon-type game...

Just get an EA access membership, it's a part of that, oh wait.........

Sweet, does that include all of the DLC?

Wouldn't that mean you'll always need a active EA Access subscription to play the games via on EA Access? Whereas buying this outright for £6.49 you can play it whenever you want?
