Well it's off the PlayStation Store, so you need to purchase it through a PlayStation account. This can be done today and then downloaded via that account whenever you wish.

Personnally I'd buy £35 worth of psn credit, use the 5% off code from facebook and get it for 31.25 and keep the 2.01 credit ready for the next game rather than by £30 and pay the extra 2.99

Either way really isn't it. There's a 34p difference between both methods. This is the cheapest way to obtain it.

You must be mad if that was for a download.
I just can't understand why anyone would buy a download, especially when quite often they cost even more than a physical copy.
These days you even have to walk to a shop to buy or sell a physical copy so I can only guess downloads appeal to peaople who can't wait.
I've heard the argument about physical copies can be damaged, but personally I'm old enough to know how to handle a CD,maybe it's an issue for others.

9 Dec 162#22
It's not about price or damage, just the convenience of having them there ready to play. I very rarely purchase physical copies (I currently have Skyrim and Battleborn).
I very rarely sell physical games and/or trade them in, and if I do it's because I've acquired the digital copy of said game. Forza Horizon 3 and Titanfall 2 have cost me similar prices recently, but they will be with me until the end of the consoles life.
Different strokes for different folks mate, I fully understand people's need for physical copies, I'm just not one of them.

9 Dec 16#23
I feel the same and just think some people can afford to loose that small trade in value and as they've actually paid for and got value out of the game that loss doesn't sit on their conscience. :stuck_out_tongue:
Biggunspaul
9 Dec 16#24
I can more than afford to lose money on a download game, just don't see what the point of spending more money than it would cost to buy it physically, and have the added bonus of being able to sell it on if the game turned out to be rubbish, like the latest call of duty
Anyway each to their own I suppose

How short sighted are you? I hardly bought any digital games, if any, but I certainly see the value of buying digital games if it's something you will play to death. I spent more than 100 hours on BF4 over 3 years and it's not even worth selling the disc so in hindsight it would have been much better if I just bought a digital game in the first place.
Also, if you use remote play, what is the point of remote play if you have to ensure the right disc is in the console everytime you want to play something?

How do I get Deluxe Edition for £35.14 When its only lets me buy a £40 topup?
This should be £35.14 + £2.99 = £38.13 in Total for Deluxe Edition.......or am i missing something?

It's just about convenience, man. Why are you looking on HUKD, too lazy to scout all the top sites individually for good deals? Why tell Siri/Google to set a timer for that egg to boil, too lazy to tap on the screen twice?

Well as I am running out of space on my gaming shelves again I can certainly see the attraction of digital games. If digital games were more competitively priced on console I would have gone mainly digital this gen for sure. Sometimes I like a physical item in regards to collectors editions but most of the time I couldn't care less.

Works out cheaper to buy the £35 gift card from CDKeys, it's currently on offer and costs £31.25 with the 5% discount code! So you can keep the £2 or so in your wallet
Biggunspaul
9 Dec 16#33
I use HUKD to post up deals that other people can take advantage of,that is not convenient for me in any way.
And I don't use Siri.
When I do use HUKD for my own gain,I'm not paying a premium to do so,infact it's FREE ! so in other words you pay extra to have the convenience of a digital download,so not really the same to compare it to a FREE site.AND leaning forward to insert a CD is hardly much effort compared to going around every high street shop to look at prices.
Biggunspaul
9 Dec 16#34
I agree they would be more appealing if they were competitively priced, but they are not,why they are not far cheaper than a physical CD I have no idea,I would think that it would be far more expensive to sell a CD as they have over heads like producing the actual product, transportation of the product, and if an actual high street shop then there is a shop to pay for and a staff to pay.

I thought everybody understood this by now. It's got nothing to do with the actual costs of either method, it's about Sony wanting to keep the gaming eco-system intact. Can't imagine it will stay that way for many more years mind.

Sony and MS still need physical retailers to flog hardware, they don't want to undercut them and **** them off. It's the same reason they don't crack down on these retailers selling used games.

thing is they are competitively priced these days if your prepared to wait for offers. plus you effectively get two copies so when you have 2 kids each with a ps4 they both get a copy.
