• 1TB Black PS4 Console
• Black DUALSHOCK®4 Wireless Controller
• Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
• Bloodborne
• The Heavy Rain & BEYOND: Two Souls Collection (2 Games)
It's the older model but 1TB console + 4 games for £230 is unreal value.

This model is just an earlier version of the console, slim version does exact same job only smaller, pro is a dearer but much more powerful piece of kit.
If you don't know the difference between the consoles, this model or the slim is perfect for you.
No backwards compatibility on PS3 games, PS1 games will work but very few PS2 games are currently compatible.
All PS4 consoles can play BluRays and are wifi enabled.
Quick check leads me to believe cheapest price for physical FIFA 17 is £28.85 at ShopTo.

Didn't say otherwise. Just said it upscales to 4K.

If peeps have waited this long to buy a new generation console there has to be an argument to hold off for the Scorpio.
Microsoft have already announced that it will be priced to compete in the console segment so should be £350 to £400 not including the trade-up deals from previous gen consoles and will have backwards game compatibility unlike Sony.

But no better than the built in upscaler on most TV's

The deal Argos ebay was doing for a PS4 Slim 1TB with Unchartered 4, The Last of Us and Drive club for £224 during the Black Friday deals was the best of the lot. Got an extra £45 thanks to Nectar points too.
I would also prefer to go with the Slim version as opposed to the full sized version. It is the same console, but the price difference is so marginal, it would make more sense to go for the newer model.
I do prefer the Xbox One S though. Better interface, better controller, better online experience, just seems the better overall package in my opinion.

I would recommend the slim just for better wifi adapter. Couldn't get on with Xbox. I liked that it has a UHD player but hate the interface, controller batteries and lack of hdmi CEC. Microsoft customer support were good as well, way better than Sony. Ended up selling my One S unfortunately as I just didn't like it and didn't use it over the PS4.

There's no difference between the slim and this when it comes to playing games. Was never tempted by the slim and instead will wait for the first price drop or 2 on the pro. Or if the Scorpio is amazing as people who have next to no idea what it's gonna be like, but say it anyway, then I'll probably just hop back onto the MS side of the fence.

That really would be awesome.
A classic like Cool Boarders or Spyro etc free each month would be a great gesture, but sadly they know they can still make money out of people's nostalgia buzz...

Not to mention the fact you only have around 408gb from the off after the operating system steals the rest

That's right. And Sony really should offer this on PS4! Or at least include a classic game every month in PS Plus.

You are joking right? The hard drive isn't just for digital games.
What about the disk space required for physical games?
GTA 5 is 50gb, Last of Us 40gb, Wolfenstein 45gb...
At that rate you'll get 7/8 games on a 500gb PS4.

I have no idea why I thought this was the case. It's the PS3 that plays all PS1 games isn't it?
It's also worth pointing out the Slim DOESN'T come with optical out, if that's your preferred method of outputting audio

And if anyone buys this, that also owns an Xbone, that doesn't want Uncharted? I have a code for FIFA 17 I'm looking to trade.

This is one of the most shocking deals i have seen. I didn't know such a bundle existed. Almost as good as the Uncharted 4, The Last Of Us, Driveclub £224 bundle i purchased.

The ps4 and ps4 slim are basically the same console except the ps4 slim is slimmer/redesign lol.
The pro however has had a boost to its system more ram and bigger cpu etc. This comes at extra cost mind and the ps4 pro does not have an UHD drive which seems a bit stupid being as xbox one s console has one. But does support 4K streaming i believe if thats something your looking for.
All models of ps4 have wifi and blu ray drives
I have and xbox one s and ps4 slim personally if i was looking at a purchase i wouldn't by this deal its an older machine etc and slim is same price also games are old etc these consoles should be cheaper than this anyway just game as usual shafting people for old stock.
For me xbox one is more of a family console my opinion mind
