Not true at all, I still play Fifa 12 on ps3, only on head 2 head. There are usually 300 players whenever I go on at whatever time. Most with good connections in European countries (you can check which country on their Fifa record history).
I recently bought Fifa 14 on ps3 which has about 300 people on it at any time for head 2 head. About 2 months ago a warning did appear on Fifa 12 saying servers will stay open for the immediate future but I'm sure it will shut soon.

As long as u enjoy playing single player and with aincient rosters. EA close the servers after a couple of years, only 14+ are still active but players are scarce.

A lot of older games are available for 10p in there, Any fifa pre Fifa 16 was 10p on all consoles including XB1 and PS4.

After sensible world of soccer, this was 2nd most played football game

PES 6 is one of my favourite PES titles. Well, PES 4 and 5 are the kings but 6 is pretty good too.

It was with PES 2008 that everything started turning into one big crock of crap.
