EDIT: Make sure the items sold are sold by Amazon and not a third party. Some items default to a third party seller and you need to specifically choose to buy through Amazon.

There is currently a price error on Amazon which doubles up on discounts on a select range of Blu-Rays and DVDs. The DVD or Blu-Ray needs to be in both the 2 for £10 offer and the 3 for £20 offer to apply.

I bought the following for the sum of £18.29 (free delivery because it was over £20 before the discount):
12 Years a Slave Blu-Ray
American Beauty BR
Labyrinth BR
Hot Tub Time Machine 2 BR
An American Werewolf in London BR
Watership Down BR

It appears adding different items has a different effect on the discount. I have seen it lower than the £18.29 I got those for. I believe it can go under £17 for six items.

So I managed to confuse mine and add an item from the 3 for £20 and bring the total down to £12.02 0_0
I added 2x American Beauty, 1x Battle of Algiers and it brought it down to £12.02 somehow

This glitch has actually been on for the last 2 days funny enough, a user on blu-ray.com noticed it. Saw it earlier. Knowing HotUKDeals though im sure the flood of orders from here will make Amazon notice :man: .

Its a good deal but I never understand why people need to buy such films these days as most are available from streaming suppliers such as Amazon, netflix etc etc .I bought a few in the past and probably watched them once as Ive seen them repeated so many times on tv it just isnt worth buying them anymore.

Good call - go down your list in your basked and make sure that they are being supplied by amazon and not a third party. On the American Beauty, choose '27 new' and scroll though the suppliers till you reach Amazon. Also don't forget to change the deliver to free (if you are not a prime customer). I can answer this quite simply for you. Streaming services do not offer the picture quality of blu ray nor do they stream with True HD or DTS- MA soundtracks.

Awesome deal. Pity only step up is 3D as from my point of view 3D titles are the only ones worth buying as with frame packing you have to download big files unless you want inferior quality.

You do not even have to order 6 for a discount to kick in. Ordered four last night alongside a Toshiba 32GB Micro SD card (£7.99), Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal, Watership Down and 12 Years A Slave and the whole lot came to £22.02. So the 4 Blu-Rays were £14, an average of £3.50 each.

As it has been reported as still working, I am assuming those that have hit the expire button have not read how the double up discount works which has been mentioned many times in this thread, both discounts have to be visible, the 2 for £10 and the three for £20 like the Labyrinth example below, and sold direct from Amazon, not third party.

DEFINITELY has expired. All of the titles that were in both promotions (2 for £10, 3 for £20) are now only in the 2 for £10 promotion. Therefore, double-downing on promotions aint possible anymore, it's been fixed.

To be fair though, blu ray films come up cheap all the time, even semi-recent ones that are really good come are available on amazon and ebay for £2.50-£3 delivered, plus places like CEX, cash converters (got Moulin Rouge the other day for £2), car boot sales (got a load for £1-2), and even Poundland (got The Butler and The Way Back each for, well, £1). There were some great titles on this offer but also a lot of meh ones.
