Is it possible this game could come to EA Access? I think I am getting myself confused about EA releasing the retail version of this game while Valve can handle it digitally through Steam. I understand Valve created the game but EA also released The Orange Box which are Valve games including the first Portal game. I guess what I am getting at is, do EA have any rights to put the games digitally onto EA Access or does their connection lie solely with the retail versions and nothing to do with the digital versions. I could mention Origion Access but maybe best leaving that for another day!

I believe that it was just retail versions of the game, so doubt it included digital. I wouldn't expect to see it added to access.
If you are remotely interested in this then I would just buy it. It's fantastic and well worth the price.

When i try to buy this on Xbox one it comes up as "unavailable to buy on xbox one please go to xbox.com or 360 " or words like that.
So i go to xbox.com and get "Sorry
Your account is unable to make this type of purchase on Xbox.com. Please complete this transaction from your Xbox."
Where am i going wrong?

Yes I got the same problem. Looks like child accounts are not able to buy games on the xbox website. But my child's account has got live gold subscription, so how could we get use of the discount if it does not allow to buy backward compatible 360 games? Not from the xbox one console and not from web?

I was on to Xbox Live chat about this yesterday. It is a bug/glitch that happens with some xbox 360 games.
You will have to purchase it on a 360, or use a debit/credit card on xbox.com
Only way to buy it using xbox currency is through your account on a xbox360.
I'm going to dust mine off later just for this purpose.. :disappointed:

Similar problem to sbove. Can't buy it on xbone says use browser to purchase. When l go to buy on browser (log into gold account) it says downloads to your 360 no mention of xbone - will I be able to download to the xbone?

child account does seem to be the problem,which is really annoying as the game is a 12 and he is over that.

I know that you can do it in the PC version, but do it with only the in-game gestures if the opportunity arises - don't talk to one another. Makes the whole progression a lot more interesting :wink:
