Lovely poinsettia plants found in my local Co op.
Was told it should be national.
Nothing says it's Christmas time like a poinsettia! :0)

Sadly don't have one local, and if they did deliver with groceries, I shudder to think of the state it would arrive in!

Oh okay. Co op is my only local shop that sells them so thought it was a good price since its a good sized plant in fab condition.

My Tesco one started dying soon after getting it. The one from last year & before that didn't last long either. The first one I had lasted a couple of years before it accidentally got left outside when it started getting colder.
I have a thermometer next to it to monitor the temperature and make sure not to over water it but they have been a nightmare ever since the first one.
has anyone bought them from other places and had them last? If so where from?

Most of these plants suffer fatal 'shock' when you transport them from the regulated temperature of the shop to your transport if you don't protect them from the heat drop.

I was careful and covered it up and it wasn't a cold day. after the last few years I read up a bit and apparently the recent breeds the supermarkets get are especially weak.

Please don't let pets chew the leaves - speaking as the owner of a particularly stupid cat these plants are very bad for them.

Agreed. Highly toxic to animals!
Luckily this is just visiting my home short term (in a safe place) until it is being gifted to someone without pets
