I left GiffGaff last friday just to get the 10 pound 4gb deal with plusnet mobile, it has been 5 working days and they have not transferred my number over, very very disappointed! my giffgaff account is closed and the sim wont work either so have no choice to wait till number is transferred. I will leave them straight away! Made a big mistake choosing them.

The 2gb deal is ideal for my second phone as I have unlimited on my main device - I don't need huge data when carrying two phones. For those of us who signed up we have until 4/1 to pull the trigger on the two introductory offers. I will think about it.

Life have been brilliant in the 11 months I've been with them. No issues at all. Upgraded to this package this week, new sim and tariff activated as soon as as I called them (as usual, answered immediately) and no problems at all. 4G faster than the 20meg it's allegedly capped at. Very happy.

I phoned 3 days ago to close account under 15 day cooling off period, agreed by them on phone, I received £10 credit into my bank from closure. This morning I had emailed from them telling me they can't take any payments from my bank as direct debit has been stopped. I stopped it after the refund as mobile account was closed. Phoned them AGAIN this morning, apparently it's says account to be closed, but they have no idea why it's not been done, put the sim card back in the mobile and it's still working.. grrrrr. I have told them I will not be restating the direct debit, I want the bloody account closed, been through there complaints procedure, which is extremely slow to respond, written to them as well. Not sure what else I can do. There a sodding nightmare with the new Mobile service.

My uncle wanted a cheap low usage sim I recommended life but by time he came to order they had migrated to plusnet.
Sim arrived. Took three days to activate but once done all seems to be working absolutely fine.

I would guess that's as much due to the influx of new users for the new deals causing a log jam at customer service. Not defending it, just seems like the probable cause.
I wanted to see what they were like whilst I had a couple of months left on my 3 contract. Probably going to split my phone usage anyway so business and personal mobiles are separate. No issues thus far although I've not tried to port any numbers; that's for next year if I can't get 3 (and their 'wonderful' customer service ) to match the deal.

There mobile service is a shambles, 2 days to port over a number, still not working, phoned to cancel contract under 15 day cooling off period, they said ok, but no confirmation yet. Have logged complaint now, stopped direct debit. Very frustrating service, been using there broadband for years no problems. Mobile service a complete shambles.

Just switched to this deal myself from EE - worth a go at half the price of my previous contract for the same amount of data. Been a Plusnet fibre broadband customer for 3 years, was on the verge of leaving after the first year due to dropouts but has been fine ever since.

I'm baffled by the negative feedback on both LifeMoble and Plusnet. I've been impressed with LifeMobile's customer service since I joined them 6 months ago, and have been a PlusNet broadband customer for a while. I'd go as far as to say that their tech support is the best I've had from any broadband provider (and I work in the IT industry)

Ditto.
Been with Virgin for ages, have 5 contracts with them, 2 had the unlimited everything for £5, which jumped to £9, then £13 then £26!
Moved them onto the £15 5000 mins, 5GB data for £10
The other 3 are on seriously random tariffs around £5.52 that haven't changed price that give 600mins 200txt 2.5gb data.
If I hadn't taken the unlimited tariff for £5 I could have kept the cheap legacy tariffs with huge discounts.
Just a pain they force you to move, then you have to build up loyalty again in the hope that company will look after you.

Lots of issues with PN mobile being reported; it must be VERY bad if TrustPilot arent deleting bad reviews.
Some people are finding they cannot receive calls but can make calls, or receive calls, but not make them; it is a complete shambles.
had been more than 6 months with life mobile - was very happy, the reviews are just crap or people cant be bothered to pay the bills on time! the plusnet still good but it seems to me the operators are overloaded as all calls are end up in queue and 10-15 minutes playing music at plusnet cost.

Actually, they bought out and are rebranding an existing company, so yes, customers of the old company may well have been trying to escape for weeks, ever since they found out.

Plusnet are also doing 4GB 4G, 1500 min, unlim texts for £10.00 mth 30 day rolling contract. I have been with Virgin for a lifetime & get unlimited all for £12 it used to be £5 then kept jumping up! Now they will not even give me a good deal for sticking with them all these years waiting for 4G bad mistake being loyal!

I must be one of the lucky ones. Been with life mobile for a while now and customer service was excellent with them. Can't speak for plusnet atm but switchover hasn't affected signal, calls etc even though it's been just over a week. They use the EE network.

Same here, Life have been excellent on the rare occasions I've needed to contact them and the switch over from Life to Plusnet seems to have gone extremely smoothly, I wouldn't even have noticed anything had changed if they'd not told me (and the network name on my phone hadn't changed).

Looking on the Plusnet forum it's looks OK, always problems but I don't think it looks terrible. Can't say I'm a fan as recently left.
