Not much in it. The blades are 2 for £20 (ish). That makes the blades £30 and the shaver £7.
In this deal the Blades are £20 for 2, the shaver £6.66.

I got one of these for Christmas and it's amazing. Best shaver I've used (admittedly i've only used like 4 different shavers in my life). Can't say how long the blades last but at least when they're new - amazingly accurate and very fast. No irritation at all. Very impressed!
Also - at this price - almost worth it just for the 2 blades!

How is this a "deal" if 4 retailers have it for the same price? Surely that indicates that it's a standard price

competitors price-matching each other doesn't diminish the fact that there has been a temporary price drop...

I bought mine for argos before xmas at around £21 so not a great deal but the product is pretty good.

I currently use a Wahl trimmer with no guard just to maintain a very slight stubble - how will this compare?
Also any use for manscaping?

Was it really that bad. I expected the shaving bit to be a gimmick but what about using it as trimmer on it's own?

couldn't disagree more. got one for christmas and it's brilliant. especially for my really sensitive eczema skin. can dry shave with it too and you literally can't feel a thing which is another bonus for me.

I thought it was spot on. Not the best for detailing but for pure close shaves and stubble control its unmatched for its price.
Can't honestly say great product everyone I know who's tried one loves it.Blades last ages.Notnas close as a wet shave but alot easier add quicker.Wont go back to a wet shave now.

I use it as a proper shaver on lowest setting (no comb) and it's fantastic. Ok not as close as a wet shave but not far off. And so much easier
It is one of the best things I have bought in the last 10 years

I ordered one from Amazon with the spare head. Whilst it is cheaper buying these you've got to get an extra head down the line at £12 each or 2 for £20. When you factor this in they work out ever so slightly cheaper on amazon

Whilst true, you have to consider the possibility of replacement heads being separately at discounted prices (think gillette fusion heads or the wilkinson heads). You don't need the spare head now and within 4-months you can pretty much expect the heads to go on sale at least once.

I think you're missing the point. This isn't supposed to replace a proper wet shave. This is a quick and dirty way of trimming your beard.
I got one about 6 months ago and use it every other day. If you just want to keep your beard growth in check, much easier and quicker than doing a proper wet shave. Recommended.

Agree with majority, it's not the closest shave but no soreness or irritation. great for just keeping it tidy. I think it's great.

Yes that bad, trust me you really can't beat the old and tried method of a proper wet shave using Wilkinson sword or Gillette.

This is a great razor for the sensitive amongst us. Like previously stated not the closest shave but I think that is what helps. Can't skip a day using this tho.

They really don't do "close" and I find the mess it leaves looks like 5 o'clock shadow (and some) first thing in the day.
I managed to cut myself with it and it was a pain to use either wet or dry.
I'll stick to a Philips turbovac beard trimmer for the stubble look and I bought a DE safety razor for £15 that really gets close.
I really really wanted to like it. :disappointed:
I have this but paid £30 month or so it's not £27.95 and a free blade!
I have thick broom double and triple hair follicles and handles it fine. Also good for doing the shoulders :stuck_out_tongue:
I bought the: Philips OneBlade QP2520/30 Hybrid trimmer & shaver (3x lengths & 1 extra blade) amazon offer while back for £29.99
i just buy whatever blades are on sale
