I don't think there are better headphones in this price range. Philips' Fidelio line are all excellent and this is great too. Only available in Blue, for some reason black is RRP.
Comes with foam tips too as well as all the usual rubber buds, bargain.
£44.99 on Amazon, same seller but with Prime.

The components and sound of the Philips TX2 is 90% the same as the Fidelio S2, but the TX2 is currently £24.99 from Argos (was £19.99 until a few days ago): http://www.argos.co.uk/product/5485149
Worth buying the TX2 if you're on a budget and/or not an audiophile.

I went for Sony's EX650. So can't justify these. But speaking as an owner of two other headphones from Philips Fidelio line. They are great!
Not sure I would trust a seller with the word trust in the name though.

So did I :stuck_out_tongue: Was on a strict budget. They also sell on Amazon from the same seller, so if anyone is worried then choose Amazon, it's fulfilled by Prime. Listening to the EX 650's now, they are amazing sounding and all the frequency range is nicely represented, love it

The durability isn't great on these, mine has exposed wiring near the 2.5mm connector and the flat cord from the splitter to the ear is starting to twist and kink.
Great sound, and at £42.99 only getting 2 years out of them might be ok for some people!

It's just the colour that puts me off, I've had the S1SB in my watch list for ages but can't justify the price

If it helps, I bought a pair at 79.99 a while ago. They are the best in-ears I've owned, and I've owned a fair few including the competing Sennheiser M2, SE215's, MDREX-650's (although at their current price they are also a must-buy) and RHA MA750. You won't regret and getting one pair of quality IEM's is better than spending every 6 months on meh ones
Do what must be done

No problem, trying to justify buying these at the moment
