Been looking at replacing my previous model since it was used on the cat... Had better trimmers in terms of cutting, but the difference in the amount of hair going into (or not going into) the sink with the vacuum has sold me on these.

He's put on some Christmas weight and had a little matting in an unreachable area. Couldn't brush it out, so gave it a trim, along with the rest of his fur.

Good price. I got one in the lightening deals just before xmas for a little under this price altho returned it as I didnt think it was any good. Very difficult to clean and rather big and plasticky. Vacuum wasnt great either.
Prefered the waterproof 5000 series which i would recommend as a better alternative. Better cut and fully washable. Each to their own tho
