Mine arrived today. What they call 'large' is just a standard size mouse mat to me. But at the price i paid I'm not complaining.

Add the item to the checkout, then at the checkout there should be an apply voucher code box and then you finally pick your payment, Do not add your code during the Paypal checkout as it will not work and you must have an account registered and to add the code

They are now cancelling multiple orders telling you that you have used the same ip address when others have not.

I think are referring to billing address or postal address.

Lucky you! I think because I added to basket in the 1st house and then only checked out at 2nd house.

I don't own the houses.

17 Jan 17 1 #270
So you can afford 2 homes, but you can't afford more than 81p for a mouse mat?
gurrkin
17 Jan 17 #269
Just received mine. This is classed as a large? I'd call it small. 23x19 cm. Maybe I missed the part where it listed the dimensions. Seems good quality though.

I ordered 2, 1 from work and 1 at home (different isp addresses) using seperate email addresses, different delivery address on both accounts, paid with same paypal account and both have been made and dispatched
azual
16 Jan 17 #267
Damn my 2nd one got cancelled. Created 2nd account at the 1st house but I ordered at the 2nd house which has different ip and paid with same paypal. But also delivering to complete different address in different country. They said it is placed under the same deal under the same ip address, but it was a different ip!? Maybe billing address can't be same?

Arrived safely. Picture is good quality I'm enjoying looking at my chosen subject. So much so that I've put the mouse next to the mat instead of on it, so I can see the picture.

Current update - code is still active, but the claimed wait period is now just 4 days.

Got the message that mine's in the post which is good, seeing as I used a close up photo of a girl displaying her massive jugs. :stuck_out_tongue: I made it black & white thinking a more artistic look would increase it's chances of being accepted.

I'll post a [minimally censored] pic when I get it! I wonder if a full-frontal nude photo would be accepted too. Anyone fancy putting that to the test?

you go threw there normal checkout and then you add the code and then it goes down to the 0.99 $ and then you pick the payment at the bottom eg card or paypal.
pototea
14 Jan 17 #262
How do I pay?

I added the code at check out and it shows "Status: WaitPayment "

I went through Paypal but it shows $5.99, not $0.99.

14 Jan 17 #258
Hi Dan,

Was the back of the pad in black also?
When I order it says the material is white, the front of my design is black and I want a black back too.
Is this automatically done or do you have to request it.
I can't see anywhere on the site that lets me specify the back colour.

Thanks.

Got this through today.....superb quality.....an old black and white image that actually looks more vivid than the actual photograph. Hot deal if its still on

13 Jan 17 #256
I think it's because they might accidentally send it to another customer, or it might get included in a bulk order sent to a large commercial client.

In the same way, some large movie studios don't use any DVD manufacturing plants who manufacture pornographic movies, just in case the discs get put into the wrong cases. Some just have a rule that their discs must not follow or precede a run of pornographic movies.

My mousemat was delivered today. Crazy great value for 80 odd pence.

You couldn't send any parcel using Royal Mail for that price, let alone internationally, or the materials, or the labour and machinery required. This is one of many reasons why I love buying and importing goods from China (not the EU)

13 Jan 17 1 #252
I can't post pic of mine that arrived today as it is the kid at Xmas time. However very pleased with it. Being harsh really the only criticism would be is a bit soft and floppy, prefer a hard mousemat. But can hardly grumble for 81p, is excellent value and I would order another one. I may go to the library to do so, if it only allows 1 x 81p mousemat per IP address.

Great find again, Buzz!

13 Jan 17 #251
got one of my mouse mats delivered today. Looks really nice.
This came via Hong Kong post! All this time I was thinking this was coming from US as the site does look one or at least its created to look that way lol. That explains why it was so cheap, only China can do these prices. Oh well who cares, deal achieved!

thanks OP!

They were properly pornographic  If i posted them here i'd get banned. Nothing illegal, just not the kind of thing you would show your mum or nan, at least I would hope you wouldn't! They were same images I had used before (albeit with a different company) on a couple of mugs for a running joke me and a couple of colleagues have at work.
scowie
11 Jan 17 #244
Was the image you used really pornographic or are they counting nudity as pornography? I'm asking cos I thought I would push the boundaries a bit and see if a topless pic would be accepted :smirk: . I had checked the site's user agreement beforehand and saw that they don't accept pornographic or obscene material, but surely the sort of image a breastfeeding baby might get to see can't be viewed as obscene! :stuck_out_tongue:

So let me get this straight; you come onto a deal that you personally have no need for and as a result you vote it cold? OK well if that's how it's supposed to work i'd best get out of here and start voting down the tampons, makeup and women's clothes deals as clearly no matter how good the prices they should be cold for me.

Alternatively I could get a life and avoid voting on things I don't need!

Depends on the surface your mouse is on, on transparent glass desk for example you will need one.

In the gaming world mouse mats are essential for consistently smooth movement and low friction.
androoski
3 Jan 17 #217
Good deal. Never needed a mouse mat since optical mouse was available, if I find a surface that the optical sensor doesn't like then I just stick piece of paper that I can also doodle and make notes on, or a book or something under. Optical mice don't really need a special surface.

Just out of interest, I've had a walk round the office here where we use proper work desks and there are zero mouse mats. I think modern office desks are mouse friendly.

But some people like them, so good deal for them.

If it detected a virus then it was nothing to do with this website. If it was anything to do with the ArtsCow website then it would be a false positive from your internet security program, due to possible suspicious activity, such as using the Silverlght designer tool.

Your hypothesis about the quality is a good one I think.

It's pretty much the perfect size IMO, it was actually a replacement for a much larger desk I didn't like, it's the perfect amount of area for working and it's also the perfect width for using my HOTAS and still having full access to keyboard and mouse without stretching. The mat is the same as the razer goliathus with custom art which is all matte, to put that size in context even with the keyboard on it it's a bigger surface area left for the mouse than my old dual sided metal razer mat which was itself huge and I don't use a lot of it as I'm a high dpi mouse user have been for decades. The wood surface throws up a huge amount of errors with the g700s only the surface mouse doesn't throw up errors.

I think you need a bigger desk m8, that space is pretty unworkable with or without a mat.

but i think you would have a less irritating experience if you just got rid of it , your wood-ish table top should be fine for that mouse, the shiny graphics on the top right of your mat , combined with the edge ripe for imminent breach with and kind of mouse action would be a great cause of annoyance im sure.

28 Dec 16 #133
When have i ever said they cannot?

by all means buy in bulk and redecorate your walls and ceilings making your entire room a usable mouse surface for even the most picky of ball or light based input devices.

Am i not allowed to express my opinion ? or have a little fun

I bet your 'gaming pc' is more low end spec, and your mouse is poor if it needs help like that, i can see you now, sat at teh cpu like my nan, keep going off the edge or your massive accessibility accessory and getting frustrated

I know they give them away with lots of kit to seemingly add value, but they undoubtedly end up in the bin or at least away from the computer as they just get in the way and often make it harder to use than the surface underneath.

Personally i bought a separate hydraulic mouse table for my kevlar gaming mouse , they just dont make mouse mats of a specification to do any justice for me.

I'm sure i have a stack of metal edged hard backed XPS and Razor / Aorus ones in the loft, along ones that came with my windows 95 pc or free in packet of cornflakes.

These days i thought people only picked them up when they are lonely and wanted a pair of breasts or an ass as a wrist rest.

http://i65.tinypic.com/2j5igeh.jpg

Pretty essential for good consistent tracking on anything other than a perfectly matte surface. Optical tracks better, but it's not magic and doesn't track on a lot of surfaces. Also weirdly the better quality the mouse the more sensitive it is to the surface. It's also good for keeping your surfaces in good condition without a mat you will eventually wear away the surface of your desk, particularly if it's a cheapo one or one made of a soft wood.

I use an optical mouse with a high quality laminte wooden office desk. I prefer the feel of neoprene on my arms and hands etc. For the last 5 years I have always had a full desk matt normally 40-50cm deep and 1m wide so this in summary this is not for me but also NOT pointless.

Yeah, just found the IP address rule, how antiquated! Makes ordering for different people using the same IP address impossible - I cant even find where to put the code - its disappeared?
rendeverance
28 Dec 16 #97
LOL

... Also depends upon your desk surface, and indeed if you are using a desk even. I dont generally use one, and have ordered one as a photo gift for a family member. However when neccersary in my lab I will get a mousemat out to prevent my nice optical mouse suffering a death when using liquids nearby.. also makes the wrist a wee bit more comfortable in some positions...

Then there is the other thing I have found the fabric ones useful for - working offsite - nothing like a mousemat for less than a quid to pop under the ultrabook on brick, concrete or whatever other scratchy, rough, hard, potentially dirty, dusty and wet surface!

Artscow does this deal reguarly. I have bought mousemats from them in the past for $1 and they got sent through. I actually just got a cosmetic bag for a relative and it had print on both sides for $1 and it got to me within 2 weeks.

The only thing is its usually only 1 per household so if you order more than that then you run the risk of having your order cancelled. Otherwise it should be fine as it was in the past
