Best price I have seen for this TV, without the uncertainty of various cashback websites. Get John Lewis or Richer Sounds to price match for 5 or 6 year warranty.

Set mine up yesterday and very pleased. At £549 it is a really good "bang for buck" deal.
Netflix upgraded to 4K and it's faultless, Blu-ray upscaling works really well, SD content off Sky and freeview is more than watchable, the Firefox UI is pretty slick and easy to use and the TV setup was really simple.

They all follow suit on price reductions and rises......
I paid £569 back along from AO, then not long after saw the TV slightly cheaper elsewhere... but now AO are charging £699.
Mad..... you never know when to pull the trigger on something these days.

Showing as £599 now. I ordered one Sunday as not having the 5 year warranty was not an issue for me.

i was one of the people that bought the seiki just under 2 years ago. it had a screen fault so today called amazon up and they are going to refund me. The operator went away for a while then said it had a 1 year manufacture warranty so it was up to amazon to sort out what they would do. within a couple minutes they had booked a collection and will refund me when they receive it back. must admit quite happy to buy of amazon but not sure how long they work to 2 3 4 5 year... should have asked.

Instead of listening to the tv experts on here, with their 8/10 bit, hertz, nits and other specs malarky that is constantly trotted out on tv deals....
I spent a lot of time & petrol driving round shops checking out different tv's, seeing them in the flesh and comparing them with 4K, HD & SD picture quality, sound quality and general design.
For the mid price, the Panny DX700B stood out for me, so i bought it.
The only thing i dont like about it so far, is that there's no program scheduled reminder in the guide.

Just FYI, you still do get a 5 year warranty. You just register the TV at Panasonic...stick a £20 Chromecast in and youre laughing

Ha.
I noticed the other zero star review they say how the picture is all pixelated. No mention of what they are inputting in the tv. I would imagine some sd content.

To be honest any built in smart features will all end up useless after a couple of years. Much better with a separate device Firestick/FireTV/Chromecast/Now TV/Roku they're all cheap and can change them every couple of years when they start running slowly or stop being supported.
For me personally with this tv I could never get the sound output right to my av receiver using the internal apps. I used the HDMI ARC but this would not auto turn on so if I used the internal apps I had to manually select it and then when watching Sky I had to manually unselected it. Not very slick when I have activities programmed into a Harmony remote. Much easier to ignore thw internal apps and just use Fire TV for them instead.

Yeah that disappointed me as was hoping for a plex client. No biggy though as I got a chromecast plugged in anyways
Cheaper from AO. Their headline price is £599 but the price comes down to £539.10 when you apply the the 10% off code LARGESCREEN10. Quidco available at AO as well.
I have this tv, I paid £999 for it when it launched. Really happy with it.
Aside from the usual spec etc one thing that put me off the Hisense was the crazy thickness. This is really nice looking and nice and thin.
I have 4k Netflix subscription and Amazon and all looks fantastic. Also have the 4K version of Fire Tv box so using the HDR input. Real test will be when I get an Xbox One S and a proper ultra HD Blu-ray. For £549 it's superb value

Who won't price match Amazon, JL or RS ? I thought JL only price matched prices at bricks and mortar firms eg RS, Curry's etc, has it changed to match websites ?
