I think this is the lowest these have been. You can't go far wrong with these. Reviews are positive as well. A fair few of you would have seen these and know a fair bit about them. Make sure the warehouse is set to HK (should automatically be selected anyway) Other wise the code won't work.

My partner bought a similar one from currys for £20 but it seems to add steps on when she moves her arm or sometimes when she is just laying in bed! Is this any different?
batvink
28 Dec 16#21
I have one, they are a nice piece of kit. It will count additional steps when you wave your arm around, but it's no different to other smart watches.
Having bought other models for the family this Christmas, the Mi Band 2 has less built-in functions. For example, mine only shows a phone symbol, but not who is calling. However, the phone App is far superior.
elne to batvink
29 Dec 16#39
Hi that is incorrect my Mi Band 2 shows either a text message or call symbol and who it is from, you need to allow Mi Fit access to your contacts (Android or Apple permission).
Best bang for your 20 notes and GearBest no problem just don't select UPS.

I bough 2 of these Mi Band 2's for Christmas. One was from Gearbest (standard black) and took 4 weeks to arrive. The other one I bought on the same day from MC-TECH Store via AliExpress (standard black plus a coloured band and pack of 2 x screen protectors) for £22.51 which came in 2 weeks. I'm so impressed with these that I've just ordered another from MC-TECH for my daughter for £22.71 with an extra purple band and screen protectors. Hope this helps some of you. Tempted by this but I'm willing to pay a bit more for a smartwatch/fitness tracker that shows who is calling on the screen rather than just a phone symbol? (and preferably previews to text/emails etc). My old pebble watch did that.
Anyone aware of something that does that for a bit more money? I want to keep below £50. Heart rate monitoring not essential. thanks

29 Dec 161#63
You have the option with the Mi Band 2 to alert you and vibrate when you receive an incoming call, SMS or email. You can also get alerts if you set an alarm or if you're idle for an hour and for goals you have set. As well as that you can get alerts for Facebook Messenger, Twitter and calendar notifications. As an example, when you get an alert for an SMS text (or phone call) it will display the person's name but not the text message. Its really very good for such a low price. For Twitter alerts it show the Twitter symbol and for Facebook the 'f' symbol. Also, it will track your sleep automatically from the moment you fall asleep to when you wake-up. Thats far better than a FitBit Connect 2 on which you have to press a button before you think you're about to fall asleep!
EDIT: In fact with the FitBit you have to start the time you will go to sleep in the App on your phone and then stop it again when you wake-up (not via the FitBit itself). So not very convenient particularly if you're not sure what time you will go to sleep or fall asleep later than expected.
