they're normally around £20 so this is not really a special deal

I thought they are normally around 29.53 (i.e. using a US warehouse gets you that price). The flash sale is only for China warehouse.

Are they any good anyway? I understand that the wrist type of heart rate monitor is not very good and doesn`t monitor reliably
aravind_svu to jasee

if you are thinking of monitoring the heart rate while you work out it may not be what you need. They don't work as effectively as the heart rate sensor belts that go on your chest. But to monitor your daily fitness with day to day activities e.g. how much are you walking, running, burning calories it would be good enough from my experience. Again at this price I won't complain if it lasts 6 months. I have a £100 Nike fuel band that didn't stand a few uses (washes) but I guess I was just unlucky.

got one for my mum as i had one and it was pretty good for under £30 but hers has got stuck on time mode and i cant get it off that mode touching the sensor just flashes the time up again
might buy another as they are really excellent little fitness trackers for the price a decent one here will cost 2 to 3 times as much and once the strap is broken your gadget finished thats how my jawbone 2 ended up

You could try enabling the 'Rotate wrist to switch info' option as a workaround. On iOS its found under Profile>"My Devices" then toggle on 'Lift wrist to view info' and 'Rotate wrist to switch info'

Im sure you checked this, but just in case. Have you checked on the phone app to make sure your Mum hasn't changed what's visible on the band ?(miband settings in profile)

I've had this watch for around 3 weeks. Still on the same charge since getting it. I use it with iPhone. And I think it's very good. No problems with it so far. Although I do feel that the heart rate sensor is a bit iffy as I have tried my gyms ones and the watch was no where near. Overall as a watch it's slick and simple very nice. Looking for an other strap aswell.

It should only take a max of 35 days as per their website, however if you asked for expedited mail then you can send Gearbest a message along with your order reference. I ordered 2 in mid December and I'm expecting them mid January.

Has anybody had any luck with vibrating notifications using with iOS?
The call vibrating notification works fine, and shows the callers name.
However, sms, whatsapp and email vibrate notifications don't work.
Any experience from iOS users please?

Do you know you can set up this band for CALLER ID too ? You don't have to take your phone out of the pocket to see who is calling or texted you. I have been using for few months and I am 100℅ happy with it. btw battery last more than a month.
Solved by unpairing band, signing out of app and rebooting phone.
All working fine after logging back in and pairing band.

CE marked, and uses servers outside China. Apparently, firmware is more stable. Also, the manual is in English.

Just got mine.. Ordered 7th December. Now I need to find some instructions so I can set time, etc.. Everything in the box (which is nicely presented) is Chinese.
Thanks, yes I got it sorted.. I was worried the firmware update would brick the unit as I know a few people have had problems following a firmware update, but all went well..

Just got mine, the step country seems to be massively inaccurate, but I haven't compared with others. Heart rate seems okay, but just comparing with my Samsung phone's measurement. Call & msg notification seems to work but not all the time, while using with iPhone 6.

I bought one a few months ago to replace my miband 1. Really pleased with it. I recommend spending a few quid to download the mi band tools app that isn't created by xiaomi as that gives you much better stats and functionality.
