The description for this on their site says new box. I'll change it but their site is wrong then.

£2.
Better than chucking it away, but only worth it if you are passing.

I had to have a live chat with a Nowtv agent on Monday night and at the end of the chat i asked if there was any deals for the cinema pass to which they responded by saying there wasnt any at the moment, BUT there will be next week, and you will be able to see them on there website and emails will be sent out ( im guessing only customers ) .Hope this helps if you dont mind waiting a few days.ALSO from the Nowtv web page...WHAT IF YOU CANCEL ALL YOUR PASSES,..." you can still use your NOWTV Box to access most of the extra channels and apps that are available, including catchup channels such as BBC i Player " etc.

The same box, with a 4 month cinema pass is also available from Currys. You would be hard pushed to find it any cheaper

Ok I'm very new to this, my daughters tv has nothing connected apart from PS3 to view Netflix, she was wanting sky in her room but can't afford. Would this be ok on her tv? How does it work and what channels do you get??

We bought a Now Tv box, with cinema pass, for the room my wife watches movies in.
Our other room (where me and my boys watch our stuff!) has a PS3. I went on the PlayStation Store on the PS3 and downloaded the Now Tv app to it. I entered the account details and username I had set set up for the Now Tv box and bingo! All the content we have on the dedicated Now Tv box is also available on the PS3. We only have cinema/movies (at the minute...) but if we had entertainment or sports it would also be available.
The account allows (I think) 2 devices to play at any one time on the account (with a max of 4 devices recognised).
Watching movies "on demand" (the only way we watch them anyway) is in 720P HD on the PS3. Watching "live" (as if you're surfing channels) appears to be standard def (but very good for SD).
I think the new "smart" Now Tv box (the wider, flatter one, with the built-in digital tuner) and Apple TV are the only devices that "live" stream in HD.
But yes, you could have the box running in one room and the PS3 could be happily running the app in the other. As with all this stuff, it's best to have half decent broadband speeds.

up to 1080p on the nowtv box although default setting is 720p so you need to adjust it in the settings.
