Argos have got the Now TV smart box with 2 months Sky Cinema which is perfect for all those christmas movies once everybody's stuffed with turkey (get it?) OR you can get 3 months entertainment instead.
Guessing there's no way to put Netflix on this new one?

The new black box or the old black box

This box would be amazing if it had a proper DVR function. The old Humax YouView boxes do combine NowTV and a DVR, but from what I understand the NowTV app on them is old and doesn't work with the new packages. Could be wrong though

No Now entertainment only Now movies on Humax YouView boxes :disappointed:

Speed of the actual box has improved, remote no longer needs pointed at box to work and the new interface is a lot better. If your happy with the older box then there is no need buying the new one even though it fixes the problems of the older box.

Old box seems fast enough depending on your Internet speed I've got no issues with the speed or the interface. Other boxes can output at 1080p but that doesn't really matter anyway as the the streaming is at 720p for both boxes.

Does the old box have the new interface and not to forget this box is way faster. Good price for a nice bit of kit.

This is the new box. Only difference between new and old is the old is Internet only and the new can be connected to an arial for free view. You can get the old box with 4 months cinema or 6 months entertainment for 19.99 from argos and curries. My preference is the old box as I don't have much use for free view.

Seems expensive when they were being sold off in Sainsburys for 35 with 4 months movies and Tesco still has the odd few for £34. I have this box and its awful....freezes alot + no no aerial pass through makes that part of it useless to be fair, which is why everywhere is discontinuing them when I was hunting for the better deals as mentioned first.
