now tv box with 3 month entertainment pass is £14.73 . At the till when it is scanned it drops to £10 if you buy an additional 3 month entertainment pass on offer for £5 when bought with the box.
you can buy as many passes as you like - each one only costing £5 (bought another 3 myself).
so:
- box on its own with 3 month pass: £14,73
or
- box with 1 additional 3 month pass: £15,00 (6 months all together)
was told the offer is running nationwide, but unsure when offer stops.
purchased in Cramlington shop today.

Ricky999 I've found ability to play media files of popular formats via the black (non smart) box to be selective but better than some LCD Tv's natively. You can use youtube app to stream/control Tv using a phone tablet & the "PlayTo" app you can sideload onto it when in development works okay but not faultlessly. I wouldnt say its a chromecast substitute but you "milage" may vary

Thanks OP. Just got box and 9 months entertainment and 4 months movies for £34.97. The box doesn't reduce in price at till. As previous poster pointed out, I had to have pass scanned first, and then box and then they must have different options on their screen with offers which then reduces prices of all passes bought to £5 each. Took 3 till operators to work it out though. This was in Birstall store at junction 27 retail park

Just to clarify this offer some including me were a bit confused with the details in the post
The box does not reduce to £10 at the till. Ive tried 5 branches
when you buy the box, the £5 for 3 months pass wont reduce. You have to do it the other way round (silly currys system)
You have to buy the 3 months pass and then on the till the box comes up as an add on item which still is £14. Something however only then does the 3 months pass reduce.
So the actual deal is £14.24 for the box with 3 months and then £5 each for every additional 3month pass u want.
Hope this clarifies things.
