Yeah been reading about it, looks like a problem with the game amongst loads of others! Hence why it was so cheap I think...

I got one of these mics on your recomendation but it seems very quiet on the Xbox one for this game.... The game barely picks up your voice and you can't really hear yourself...... Anyone else have any experience of this?

Yeah I just looked it up and the wired PS2 or PS3 ones are meant to work in the PS4.

I've bought my son an xbox one for Xmas so new to it.
Can someone please confirm will ANY usb microphone work with the xbox one or are there ones to avoid ?

It's USB. It works with PS4 and Xbox One.
No-one makes wireless mics now. They were too unreliable.
These Wii U ones are well made, have a long lead and are cheap.
Click on the link, Amazon showed a mic for around £12 at the bottom of the page, PS4 compatible. Mic and Sing for less than £20 delivered. Nice. Edit - Emribena linked to the one I got above.
