Cheaper than most places if your specifically after a Pearl White variant. Actually its the cheapest price around for any new 3ds xl as long as your not after the metallic black.
Checked and as of 9th dec its cheaper than Amazon, Argos, Currys, Game, Graingers, ToysRus, Smyths, Shopto, Gameseek :smirk:
Orange, Pink and Metallic blue available at same price fwiw. Free p+p.
Edited twice now so to save doing it again and to help people who cant click through or see the pic :smirk: its the new 3ds, the latest variant in xl form I really cant make it any clearer than that!
Enjoy! someone enjoy, please, its christmas

You should include it's the "new" variant, I had to go check as I was shocked at the price of a non new edition :stuck_out_tongue:

I found gumtree to be brilliant. Picked an old model 3ds xl for £65 (without a memory card / stylus / charger) but works perfectly and will run the new Pokemon game for Christmas. Seen a few more on there between £60 and £80 since then as long as you don't mind picking up in person and paying cash. Not for everyone, but if you are after a bargain and don't mind a few scuffs it's the best place to go.

169 is still a bit much, I have a feeling the xl version will drop further as we go into this month

does it have an adaptor charger with it coz lots dont...? i feel its ridiculous that these consoles dont have them with the original nintendo console...? beware coz when your kids want to play with it on xmas day they wont be able to...? its a bit like getting a brand new car without the keys.

it states it on the box from memory so if your buying it you'll have a heads up before hand.

It does not come with a charger.

Good price, but I think once the impact of the latest Pokemon subsides a bit, and with Switch heavily rumoured to be starting at £199 in March, I think the price will drop in the new year. That said, you'd have thought the Wii U would be sub £150 now.
But good for anyone that wants one now!

The actual title of the new model is 'New 3DS' showing it as "New" 3DS can give the wrong impression as to how New it is.

get a 2ds its sturdier, it comes with preloaded game and its less than half the price

hi, amended but gotta invoke the common sense rule spasho its not going to be an old new model or even a used model at this price. I dont benefit anyway from posting (other than the warm glow that forms in my heart when someone says thanks) so however Ive listed it its genuinely not to confuse for the sake of profit, or heat fwiw.

I've been looking at these and as we get closer to Christmas the price is only going up as stock gets low. I got one from tesco last week for 179 and now they're 209. similar price on amazon and Nintendo store stock is disappearing fast.

they do seem to be creeping up in price. I only paid £120 odd for my regular 'new 3ds' quite a while ago now. this is the best price atm I can find especially for the new colours.

How come no one ever says the 3DS is a billion years old and it should be £25? (like they do with the Wii U since forever it seems)
Do we have to wait for an announcement on a new 4DS before people start saying that?

short answer, i don't know. just trying to help someone save money!
long answer, with no new handheld device coming from nintendo to replace the 3ds anytime soon really it'll still be getting supported with new games and they'll be releasing new colours etc for a while. Its a good system imho and is still selling pretty well.

I just ordered a New XL through Flubit for £153. Go through Topcashback and you get an extra 9.2% off so effective cost is around £140.
I know a lot of people have had problems with Flubit so it will be interesting to see if they deliver! The supplier is Gameseek so we'll see.

but the nintendo switch is basically the replacement for 3ds and wiiU , everything the switch does is all there on the tablet so you can take it anywhere and play or you can connect it to the dock to play it on your tv.
they are only saying they're not replacements so they can get some more sales this Christmas before this drops because they have nothing else coming out till switch releases in march.
thing it about it if its not to replace wiiU then why are not not relating anything for it then to prove otherwise.
3ds has been out for a while now and its holding them back with games as is evident when they have t port games without features .
now with the switch they will had a hd handheld and hd home console in one with more time to make games and hopefully less gaming drought.
the switch is looking great and I think they are onto a winner this time just a same it didn't work out this way with the wiiu as great as it was.

do you feel better now? phew.
I dont think the switch is the 3ds's successor. its a hybrid sure but I dont think they are quite done with the purely handheld format yet. I dont work for ninty so dont think a small and pretty general comment by moi warrants such a diatribe.
forget it jake, its just hukd.
