Next are offering free home delivery for today only. They promise that you will get your delivery in time for Christmas or you will get to keep the order for FREE. It might benefit some as it will save you money if you were looking for some last minute gifts. I ordered my son a hat for £3 so no minimum spend! Will benefit to those who don't have a store nearby or don't want to battle the last minute shoppers for free store collection.
*Free Delivery on orders placed to home today. Sofas, large furniture and some other product ranges excluded. For details see full terms & conditions.*

Disagree with other comments here that are slating off Next.
Many other fashion websites charge for home delivery (depending on total expense), while collect from store is free e.g. BooHoo, Asos, M&MDirect, River Island even John Lewis, House of Fraser and Selfridges. How such a comment therefore even has 1 like, let alone 4, baffles me.
As for those bashing the quality of their clothes, I purchased a few hundred £s worth of clothes from Next last year. Their clothes keep shape after washes better than many other retailers and shirt and polo collars are yet to turn upwards, an issue I've had with designer shirts. For me, the quality of their clothes is better than anything else on the same level.

Tight ass company. Never do any cashbacks or vouchers, yet increasing their prices year on year while quality declines.

Totally agree with the above and they still charge £3.75 for a catalogue! People need to wise up to this company - can't believe people fall for it in this day and age.

I love some of the deals on here, but this one is not hot, I agree with a few people on this. It's just Next creating the sense of urgency, when in fact they still have 5 days to deliver to you anyway. Sorry, it's a cold from me :disappointed:

Signing up to a Next online account means a credit check and therefore a credit account is opened, which is reported to Credit Reference Agencies. Many customers may not even be aware of this. Cold and not really a hot "deal" just because there's free delivery for one whole day.

...what?!
At what stage of signing up for a Next account does this happen? I'm assuming that signing up to their emails a couple of months back (where I did input my name and address etc.) didn't lead to a credit check, right?

Its very hit and miss, EVERY range I've looked at that I was interested in has terrible reviews. I was in a Next home store only last week, loved a bedroom range then ran my hand along the top of the chest of drawers, you could feel all the veneer had come away and made noises when you pressed on it. Sure enough, checking online reviews on their site confirmed it was a common issue, again! It's such a shame as some of their stuff looks very nice, it just isn't good quality in general though.
