Thanks for this. I bought one for my paperwhite. Wasn't going to bother as had one for my old kindle keyboard (still going) & made it a little heavy. I read in bed & hubby was complaining about light always being on. The kindle sometimes hits me in the face & sometimes I miss the bedside cabinet so thought a case might be useful. Nice feeling material & for £1 what's to dislike? Very much like the paperwhite for night time reading but I still think the page turns on the keyboard can't be beaten.

Sorry about that but I guess everybody has different expectations and each to their own...Tesco describes it as a case...I didn't mind the colour as it is neutral and thought the material was ok but can understand your disappointment if you were expecting a hard type case.

First it's the colour then the material, it's not a case it's a cover because I wanted something to to put tablet not the other way round

This is the worst case I bought, it's only a pound but will go to bin

Why? What is wrong with it...I was quite happy with mine for a £1 and it is certainly lasting well and a lot of other people seem happy with them too according to the reviews.

Really not sure to be honest but if you check the dimensions of the Fire and if they are the same as the Kindle Paperwhite then yes it will fit...sorry I can't be of more help but don't have a Kindle Fire myself.

Fair enough but thought it was worthy of a post particularly with Christmas coming up as it would make quite a nice inexpensive pressie especially when you take into account it's free delivery as well

As I said in the description I bought one for my Kindle Paperwhite and it fits perfectly...has four elastic straps (one at each corner to hold the Kindle in place) and it has held my Kindle firmly and securely and not had any problems with it so far...been using it constantly for a month and it has held up well.
Also got to say it actually looks far better in the flesh so to speak than it does in the pictures and seems to be well made and I would say it's certainly worth a pound.
It's not a pocket that you slip the Kindle into...it has a fold back cover with a strip of elastic to hold it closed....hope that makes some kind of sense...think someone else has described it better than I have

Is this just a pocket rather than a book type case?

it's a book type case, the kindle is held in place at the four corners and mine has never fallen out

If this was a case instead of cover I would've been all over this

I got one of these in purple a while ago and they look much better in the flesh (cloth?) than on the screen. I have a paperwhite in mine. The only problem I have is that the eleastic band feels like it's on the wrong side - for some reason I expect it to be on the back and hold the front closed rather than to be on the front so I keep looking at a blank bit material when I open it!

I have one of these and it works fine with my 2015 paperwhite. I think it will work with any Kindle with a 6" display, which I think is the majority if not all....
