The Sale also has the Wii U Minecraft deal that was live a few days ago

There a good deal considering it is not easy to find most of these bundles below £200! Just to clarify, this deal does not include the XL version!

I had a 3ds a few years ago, played everything I wanted, then sold it on. Recently had a hankering to get one again, just for some quick plays of Mario Kart and Animal Crossing, and anything that's been released since. Can't believe this is the best deal that's been around this time, especially over Xmas and Black Friday. [EDIT: There was the toys r us deal actually, but I missed that]
Pokemon Go and the Switch have obviously got Nintendo back in the public consciousness, every deal seems to have someone like me lamenting the prices!?

Haha, well to make a long pointless story even longer... I actually bought a 2DS before I bought the 3DS. It was fine to play with, but I much preferred the clamshell of the 3DS so I could stick in a bag/coat pocket. But for casual sofa use, I might look into it.

To give a positive comment here, the 3DS is 5000 billion times better than the 2DS. There is also a distinct lack of 3DS XL themed consoles made available to Nintendo's UK customers. There is nothing wrong with the 3DS as such, but I don't see how you can argue that it is inferior technology. If your really want to play your games on a smaller, and lower spec unit, fair enough and each to their own.
I am in the market for another 3DS unit, but I am holding out in the hope there are going to be some good 3DS XL 2nd gen units made available in Europe in time.

Nintendo have reduced XL's before, the best deals were half price units which included the very cool £200 themed Yoshi edition for just £100. That was before the newer 2nd gen 3DS XL came along though. I expect there will be some sort of Nintendo store 3DS XL deals after new year.

what are you talking about? i'm not arguing anything about any given 3ds version being inferior rockstar. I have a new 3ds. Pop that on a post it by your computer as a reminder so we don't have to go over this again. Or better still make it a new years resolution to read posts properly.
