And yes, . <--- There he is, I left him out on purpose.
Edit: To those wondering what I'm on about, there was a post removed criticising Bobby because he forgot to put a full stop at the end of his sentence.

Yep, seems like most people don't care about reliability. Size and cost are the only factors.

II did try gaming I think it was just about bearable In end but I went for standard 1080p Samsung 40 inch which was top of range but reduced to £300 excellent picture plus great frame rate for gaming. Very happy with it. The TV advertised is pretty poor (sorry person posting). Few people actually need 4K so may be worth buying a quality 1080p TV. I didbt like the feet on this TV either. Hope this helps some people.

I would advise against purchasing this. Great price, but the menu is so painfully slow and as stated the motion blur is bad enough to render the 4k irrelevant. Maybe for this price it's worth spending an extra £25 to stick a Fire TV stick in the back, but unless you have a Gandhi level of patience you won't be able to suffer the 30 second wait every time you need to go back to the main menu.

Not even cost being considered - this is £300 every time it's posted has been all year and yet still getting heat.

It's worth the money and more if you can be arsed to invest some time and extra cash for a decent media player (I use a Nvidia Shield). The colour/black levels and sound are excellent for the price and if you know anything about tv's you'll know that you'll need to turn off any motion handling anyway. It's 60hz, 4K TV for £300! Total no brainier and I'll be keeping mine.

Very happy with my Vestel tv. In my case its a Finlux model with passive 3D so uses a LG panel. It doesn't appear to be the same chassis as this model. Mine has a great 4k image, decent sound, smooth motion and a low input lag of 31ms which is great for a passive 3D tv. The LG models tend to be higher which is the other option for passive 3D.
It's got a quad core cpu and everything operates very fast except surprisingly the quick menu which sometimes takes a second to appear rather than instant.
Huge number of great features on mine including bluetooth, wireless display, streaming to android devices, phones etc so you can watch tv in other rooms connected to the same network.
The 3D is fantastic.
Upscaling of low bitrate SD freeview channels is not great but then my aerial signal is not fantastic. Certainly much better through satellite or with internet streaming.
Vestel claim to be one of the most reliable supplier's on their site for tv's and Panasonic have maintained their no. 1 reliability reputation despite many of their large entry level tv's and small tv's being made by Vestel. There was a problem with Vestel power supply boards a few years ago but they are improved now.
I think with Vestel stuff you really need to read the reviews and see the set instore. Saying that I read a review of my tv and didnt' recognise it because I think they were using a early firmware. The fact is Argos may have gone for a cheap spec when they purchased from Vestel. They may have not gone for a quad core cpu board but instead a dual core or the panel may be their minimum spec 4k panel. Vestel are a huge OEM supplier and have a huge marketshare in Europe with the UK being one of the highest outside Turkey. They provide a wide range of products.
However as far as I understand unlike Toshiba, Panasonic and a few others the Hitachi range do not involve Hitachi at all. Argos simply pay a royalty to use the brand but apart from that its exactly the same process as Argo's own brands like Bush, Alba etc. My point is Panasonic and Toshiba fully support their vestel tv's with firmware updates etc I'm not so sure about Hitachi and suspect it will be more like Bush and Alba.
I guess what I'm saying is Vestel TV's while not high end performance do have a range from low to mid range performance and I don't trust Argos not to go for the minimum performance.
I went and bought this TV and I'm very happy with it.
There's a few people slating the sound quality in the reviews on the Argos website, but they must be technophobes who don't play around with the settings.
