On this promotion the credit needs to be used by July, the last time it was September. If you phone up and order, make sure the next credit gets applied, mine didn't.
I'm sure some people just vote cold for everything! Great deal. Basically the machine is free.

Can you explain how the credit of the £75 works please. Does it mean you can get Just the £75 of coffee or does the order have to be more than £75 and you only get a discount of £25 at a time?
Also do you need to order it from Nespresso or does it work in any shop that sells Nespresso?
twinkle to Burgmeister
24 Dec 16#24
Make sure you can register this to get the credit. I'm sure there's a limit on the number of promotions you can register for....not 100% sure just recall a £10 limit at some time
I'm not sure that it would qualify for the £75 coffee credit. No mention of it and someone says they didn't get it in the comments.

I have to say really impressed with Nespresso. Went to one of the London stores to spend the promo credit. You get 3x £25.
In store was offered tasting to pick what capsules I would like. Spend about 35 minimum tasting 8 or so different capsules in difrent forms of coffee.
Then went to the till gave postcode and name and picked what I wanted and just promo credit came off total.
So ended up paying a couple of pounds for 80 capsules

You get 3x £25 worth of credit. The first £25 appears when you register. The next after your first order and the final one after your second order. It's not perfect as you can't use credit against postage but it's still a really good deal. You can get compatible capsules cheaper but the Nespresso ones are very good (according to my wife - I don't drink coffee!). I hope this helps
Edit: Sorry missed your last question. You need to get it from Nespresso, not sure whether you can get it from their stores or only by post. There are no stores near us so we order online anyway.

But the thing I still like about the Nespresso capsules is the recycling element. I.e. you get a bag from them, fill it up with used capsules and then take it to your local Collect+ and they send it back to Nespresso for recycling.

Thank you for that. Could you just clear up for me...Can you just order the £25's worth or do you need to order more than £25. Basically, Is this like a account credit or is it a discount voucher.
Sorry for being picky, I'm interested in buying but I want to be sure of what I am buying.
supersmoothie
24 Dec 16#19
It's account credit.
You could walk into a Nespresso Boutique or Selfridges and use your first credit to buy one sleeve of capsules at around £3 - leaving you with £22 credit in your account. Within a couple of weeks your 2nd credit will be applied to your account - giving you a balance of £47 before your next purchase.
That's how it has always worked for me - and same applies for online orders (except of course you have a shipping charge for orders of less than 200 capsules - the shipping charge can also be paid with the credit though too).

You don't need to use the voucher in one go but you need to order in multiples of 50, but as you can't use the voucher against postage my wife buys 100 at a time for about £29-£35 (depending on her choices) plus the £4.95 postage. You won't receive your second voucher until your first is used up.
Edit: According to Supersmoothie you do get your vouchers added before using the previous one. My wife has always used in full so can't confirm this (she thought you wouldn't get the second credited before the first is completely used).

Definitely more than £10 credit as the £75 is advertised on their website but as it appears to be for new members I'd best open an account in my name for this credit.
Burgmeister
24 Dec 16#26
According to the Ts&Cs it states...
"Offer limited to one application for the full £75/£45 credit offer (3 x £25 or 3 x £15) per Club Member number. However, any Club Member making a claim against a second new machine purchased within the stated promotion period will qualify for one further £25/£15 credit to be used in the same way as the original offer. "
However, it isn't clear whether this refers to this particular promotion (which runs from Nov 16 to Jan 17) or to any similar promotional offer, like the one we used last year.
Edit: Actually, re-reading that it appears that it would be available to anyone that received a previous offer as it mentions the "Stated promotion period". Might be safer to open an account in my name anyway, but the Ts&Cs don't exclude current members from using this promotion

I've got a Tassimo and am replacing it with this.
Some of the Tassimmo coffees are good (the Colombian is great) but there's only a limited selection in the shops so I keep having to order from their website (which was great when they kept doing discount codes and free delivery but those seem to have dried up recently).
However, I was really disappointed by the latte/cappuccino offerings for the Tassimo - the milk cartridges contain a sickly, oversweetened, milk-like substance. It's very unpleasant.
The Nespresso system is much older so the patent on the capsule has expired, which means there are lots of other manufacturers making their own-brand equivalents.
There are no milk capsules - if you want latte or cappuccino you heat and froth real milk with the Aeroccino.

Actually what you've been told is wrong from what you've said. Registered with Nespresso club yesterday, and and just completed the promotion application for the account credit (scan of receipt, etc), which they say once validated, will be on my account within 10 days (well, the first £25).
In the meantime, we are trying out the assorted capsules we got with the machine, but have also bought some compatible pods from Morrisons until the credit is active and we can get some pods from Nespresso.
These coffees are already much better than Tassimo or Dolce Gusto, with using real milk rather than the milk pods.
Just need to have a play around with pods and amount of water to be added, as we generally drink mugs of coffee, and the standard 'Lungo' size is only 110ml of water which isnt much. Need to try with more water and see that it doesn't weaken the coffee to much, as you can set the 'Lungo' button to add a custom amount of water.

Can someone help me with the aerocinno 3 and its use? I try "froth" the milk by pressing the button and letting it do this for 70 seconds. Problem is the milk seperates from the froth and is useless. So far I havent been impressed with this part of the machine as apparently you also have to detatch a spring everytime you want to heat milk for say a latte etc. Am i doing something wrong or is it the limitations of this machine?
johnson293
28 Dec 16#79
Just bought this kit myself, our first Nespresso.
I think the separate milk and froth is correct, as you will always get froth on top of the milk when its done, then you pour the milk into the drink, then the foam to finish the top.
I also have been using this with the full whisk on, didn't realise you had to detach the springy bottom ring to just have warmed milk.
The instructions aren't great for the Nespresso or the Aeroccino, with graphics but no explanations. I've had to use google to clarify a couple of things.
Used my first £25 credit yesterday. Ordered the 150 pod 'discovery' selection, with free gift for new club members, and I go the view cappuccino set. Cost me £22.70 cash on top of the £25 credit, but ordered at 5pm yesterday and they arrived this morning, and delivery was free! Impressive.
Just waiting for the next £25 credit, and then I'm going to order the view Lungo Cup set.
