just get impact whey. I've been taking it with creatine for many years and got good results.

This stuff doesn't mix well, definitely not as well as the impact whey. I went for this the last time it was on offer and won't get it again.
The impact whey is high protein content and mixing great as well.

how does this compare with the USN (hardcore all-in-one) and Maxi (max sustain and rebuild)?

Good price but I'd just go for their impact whey, not much difference in price once you factor in the protein content.

For £7 it isn't too bad! Just add milk to up the protein content per serving.

would be cheaper to buy eggs, chicken, fish, peanut butter, cottage cheese etc from supermarkets

In my opinions better than isolate..
Contains green tea extract which aids fat metabolism, also contains some oats which is good at filling you up and great for having a snack throughout the day and in work and provides energy!

Always best to have a supplement aswell as food to increase needed protein. 2 egg Omellette is 20g of protein. Ideally you need 1-1.5g of protein for every pound of bodyweight. So shakes do help aswell as food intake. Remember to use creatine before or after workout.

it says DIET whey... usually a word diet means the protein % is lower than regular wpc. in this case as far as I remember it has around 60% of protein content
