Great for skylake and kabylake CPUs. When I was upgrading my pc 2 weeks ago this cost £100, so this is a pretty good price drop.

Just bought one for a new build, seems like a really decent board for the price.

I envy everyone who is willing to spend extra money on an sli setup. What are you gonna put in there? Two 1070s is your cheapest option if you're going for a new build... Disregard this if you have two older cards in sli already and if your aim is not gaming.

Also if you are not in a terrible rush, Z270 is coming and if you do not already have an older compatible cpu and want to buy kaby lake this needs a bios update for which you 99% need a cpu.
Also next week there is Zen announcment, kaby lake soon as well so I would be patient a bit longer and see how that play out before committing to a single camp.

You always have to pay extra for SLI though. They don't support x16/4x mode whereas AMD do, so the board has to have at least two x8 slots. If you look at the similar MSI Z170A SLI you'll see that it includes a chip which allows PCIe to run at x8/x8/x4 (that board has three physical x16 slots). That does add to the price.
At least it's not a £100 premium like G-Sync vs FreeSync though. Nvidia could easily change the requirements as even x4 PCIx 3.0 is plenty of bandwidth.

Nice find OP.
This looks decent.
Heat added.
Personally I am waiting on a good deal on a Gigabyte board, just personal preference.
