Got 2 of these both used outside with no problems. As a side note they actually look like a camera which is an added deterrent, I'd never considered this until the police who were investigating a local murder called at our house asking if they could view footage from our 'camera' .

Wasn't keen on brown, less keen on white for more than twice the prices, but... it pays to look at the different options, there was a pack of 3 white ones for just over £33... gone now though

If these are easy enough to take a part, you could always disassemble them and seal any circuit boards or bare connections with some sort of conformal coating. Nail varnish/polish works well and would help keep moisture out and extend its life.
Strange as link takes me to price of £27.97
Unless its because ive bought one ?

Had the copy version of this. (from amazon)Very good until it let water in and died within a year. I'll have to buy this though and hope water protection is better. From what I remember the batteries outlasted the unit. thanks for deal

I have one & it's ok not super bright like a security light, but does the job. Battery lasts a while,on average i would say i use 3 sets of Duracells a year.

I believe this would be ideal, though I do not own one (yet) so cannot say for sure. I am only going by reviews that I have read and the images that are on the link suggest that it will only light up a small area. Battery wise, I guess this will come down to how often it is activated.

it's not like a flood light, I've got one and it's more like a led flashlight that runs on 3 x D batteries but it is still excellent and would recommend it
Opening post
Extremely bright LED with minimum power consumption, 140 Lumens
Motion sensor turns LED spotlight on and off automatically
Features a weatherproof design for durability
Simple wireless installation in minutes, one year average battery life
Provides 350 square feet of LED light coverage, battery operated.
Deal is valid for another 1hr 20mins from time of posting (9:40pm).
Hope this is useful to some of you out there .
