Good reviews, even when tested at £700 by What HiFi.
They are currently £699.95 at Superfi and £449 from Audio Affair.
I have used Audiovisual Online a few times and can't fault their service.
Good space savers for anyone looking for a 5.1 package.
Use Code 3UBE at the checkout to get the £150 off to make them £299.00
New code 5AP0 will reduce it to £299.
M³ is the third generation satellite and subwoofer 5.1 AV system from mission. M-Cube is now M Cubed. M³ is designed specifically for fuss-free home cinema. Compact speakers, simple mounting brackets and wide dispersion audio means you can't go wrong from installation to enjoying a movie. Surprisingly elegant yet compact 5.1 sound, package includes wall mounting brackets.

I had a set of these when they were first released. Tbh I felt they never lived up to the hype...heavy base, vocals slightly muffled. They work differently to normal speakers in that they use flat panel resonance technology.
They weren't awful, but they weren't great. The satellites connect through the sub via a unique umbilical cable to the amp. My sub packed up after a few years of light use, apparently something on one of the PCBs had blown. Spoke to Mission, would have cost about £150 to fix (they clearly knew what the issue was...look online, quite a common problem, but was going to have to leave it with them for a month or so to get repaired as they were snowed under). In the end I decided to flog the satellites on eBay and bin the sub, bought some B&Ws, haven't regretted it.

Yes you need an amp.

The sub is active and therefore just needs line level input, the others are passive and need to be amped; a surround sound amp is therefore required.

Good price. Next best is Amazon at 360 quid (3rd party seller). Heat added.

Huge price leap from this to B&Ws but I would certainly consider it worth it.

Great deal. This is the updated M3 model with new drivers and speakers that connect to the AV receiver rather than the sub.

would have liked to be able to get these in the white finish that Mission also produce.

Might work nicely in the lounge, got full sized speaker set up on the loft, but sometimes watch bits downstairs

look really good and heavy weight too. price is a steal but I can't find reviews of this product on the mass scale. I looked up one review and found that it won an award from what hifi which is great but not a lot from owners. hence this is for me not the best of options. depending on your needs.
I want something for the living room home cinema sound
anyone recommend a suitable option including amp and speakers for under 800
onkyo maybe ?

Totally agree with both your comments. I bought the B&W MT-50 setup. Basically the way I looked at it was that I spent about £700 on the Mission M-cubes when they were first released (think they were first generation tbh), used them for about 4 or 5 years before the sub went kaput, cost was about £150+ to repair, but I'd never really been that happy with them (ran them through 2 different AV amps, Denon and Pioneer...not great via either one). After the amp blew I ran the speakers wired direct to the amp, same issues with flat sound, poor vocal clarity while watching TV (Sky, films, BluRay), although music was ok (a little heavy on the bass). I waited until I saw a good offer on the B&Ws and took the plunge, spent about £1000 (Mission cost me £700 when bought)...I have never regretted a penny of that spend. The sound quality is superb (via same Pioneer amp). Vocal clarity is perfect, the audio separation when watching action films on either Sky or BluRay is stunning, and music just sounds fabulous. For me, I consider that the Missions were a bad purchase, the B&Ws were not, even though they cost more.
Hopefully anyone who buys these will be delighted with them, they are a newer generation than mine, so possibly some of the issues ironed out.
