Model 7G6-00002 is the original model that came with Windows 8. The free upgrade to Windows 10 has now expired so you'd be stuck with 8. I'm surprised Argos have managed to find stock of this model, they must have been hanging around in a warehouse for at least 12 months, probably more. Also, "fast Intel processor", isn't really true at all, it's a fairly poor Atom CPU. It would be a decent deal if it were £250 or less.

Surely that would be the Surface Pro 3? I believe the Surface 3 came later
No he's right, the Surface 3 originally came out with Windows 8 in May 2015 before being refreshed a few months later to be preinstalled with Windows 10 when that came out https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surface_3

The recovery USB image can be downloaded from Microsoft and it is Windows 10. I expect you can use this to apply Windows 10.

I wouldn't be so sure that would work if the licence is tied to a specific SKU.
