how lazy are people that they can't even do roast potatoes? Chips I can understand (prep time is astronomical and typically people lack a frier etc) - but roast potatoes...

Bought today along with free tin. I am sorry if that makes me lazy even though I certainly don't feel like I am given all the other things I have to make. I usually do homemade but I have so many other things to do on the day that I thought this would be great! :wink:

Agreed, and I'd say the same thing for a roast at a pub - the potatoes are never as good as when you make them yourself. However your stock issue is a moot point, it's not as if Christmas is on some random day and no one knows what it is.

You can't just label any of who uses frozen roast pots as 'lazy'. Some people prefer them; some don't have the time; some genuinely know f'all about cooking so have no choice.

Yep got it last week at my local, basically paying for the tray for £1 (not sure if that's actually worth it) as it does peel off
