Persona 4 had a game and save file breaking bug in it for me. After 30 hours of play I lost my entire save and I'm not the only one. Truly heartbreaking. The site of the name nearly has me going.

If you play the game make sure you back up your Persona save to the cloud every few days or something. Several people lost their saves.

It is quite superb. Put about 60 hours into the Vita version and I'm not even that into JRPG's.

£4 is an absolute steal. One of the best RPGs ever made.

Disgaea 5 is £15.99 which is the best it's been iirc. Superb, superb strategy/RPG and probably the only game in the series to definitively surpass the others in the series.

Any requests for January ps plus, if I buy it today its almost guaranteed to be given free next month.

Final Fantasy XV is £32.99. More relevant to me.....£42 of DLC for MAss Effect 3 can now be bought for approx £11.70!! RESULT.

I've been waiting forever for the Mass Effect 3 DLC to be discounted on Xbox. Wish i could've stuck with the PS3 version but the frame rate and bugs were ruining the experience and i had to switch to the 360 version. No regrets as it was a better version. Great deal though as i've never seen the DLC discounted on Xbox.

I got bored a few hours into 6, so cant really comment on the whole game but i didnt like it too much.
5 as amazing for me, quite different from other games in the series, as were 4&6, but I really enjoyed the w hole game, and I've played through that one so many times im not gonna revisit that title anytime soon cause i've already played it to death at the moment XD but if you havent played it I would suggest getting 5 in addition to number 4, and if you are already getting those testing out 6 may be worth getting the whole pack, you might like 6 more than I did, I dont't know if my opinion on 6 is reflective of the whole community, maybe check reviews.

I did love 4 though, I originally played it on the wii though with the Wii Zapper which made it a hell of a different game, really felt like being in an arcade with the rather large peripheral it then became... which made the quick time events pretty weird having to wiggle a big piece of plastic housing the wiimote and nunchuck quickly back and forth to activate the wiimotes motion sensors XD made such a unique experience of the game, having since played it through on PC a few times with a controller, the game is much more playable on a more conventional controller though I do enjoy the story in all it's ridiculousness XD

Spent a lot of time on the darkest dungeon since release! Permanent deaths. Ace art style. Great RPG game.

Buy if you like a challenge - you won't be disappointed.

I recently changed my PS4 hard drive for this one. Its a portable drive, but fits the PS4 perfectly, and cheaper than buying the exact same drive without the enclosure. Just open the plastic unit, take out the drive and put it in your PS4, then put the old one into the enclousre and bam!....you have an upgraded PS4 to 2tb and a 500gb (i assume) external hard drive! Took me about 20 minutes. Just make sure you do the relevant backups etc first!

I would say a couple of be games are ok but the most are fair adult content. Like someone above mentioned, the second has a family friendly setting.

If you want something similar but child friendly buy the game 'Sportsfriends'.

Also don't forget to use the two secret cheat codes you can find online for it that you can access 2 extra minigames of the game......

The controls for resident evils 0-4 are awful by today's standards - unfortunately. Not worth buying even at those prices.

Persona 4 golden is meant to be brilliant. Jazzpunk is a surreal comedic game I think, got good reviews as well.

My choice would be Borderlands: The Handsome Collection. 4 Player split screen co-op. £13.99.

The Last of Us remastered is not discounted. Cold. I am joking Hot man but it is a shame they have left TLOU at standard price.

Broforce (£3.99) is fantastic fun, plus is online and local.
For FPS, Rainbow Six Siege is quality (£15.99) and the servers have a very healthy population.

Went for hitman - think £24 squids is a good deal as the physical disk seems to still be pretty expensive

The physical version's not yet been released, so there's not been any time for a post-release price drop yet.

You're right though - SSDs are too expensive for a decent size library - A hybrid is a good trade-off though...
My mate with an SSHD is always in a game 10-20 seconds before my std PS4.

Ah nice, glad to hear it. It feels perfect for long sessions and little quickies :smiley:. I only just recently discovered that if you and a teammate press triangle when near to each other, you'll do a high five and temporarily slow down time. I wish I found that out for some of the earlier bosses :laughing:.

I'm tempted by valkyria chronicles which I've kinda wanted since it was released on the PS3. Is it any good? I'd have to get some psn credit first since I spent it on persona 4 and tomb raider

anyone know if the save file for the physical version of deus ex is compatible for the digital version?

We only discovered it around level 30, felt very silly :smiley:. Oh and the 'Brofessional' has a temporary invincibility ability instead of the melee action. He's gone from one of my least favourites to one of my favourites.

Most PS4 saves aren't compatible between physical and digital versions.

Its actually the opposite - in most cases, the same set of save files are seen by both digital download and physical disc versions of a game. There will be a few exceptions and if there are region differences that would cause non-compatibility, but generally the same saves are seen by either version.

None of my physical saves have worked with digital copies when I've changed over, no cross region either.

What games have you tried it with?

Last of us, all of the uncharted games, killzone, god of war, heavy rain, there's more that's all I can remember off hand haha

I loved Valkyria Chronicles when it was first released, but I tried replaying it a few months ago, and I don't think the gameplay has aged particularly well. However, I think it's worth a gamble.
