For £8 it's hard to argue, thanks OP I might just indulge. Mario Kart 8 is such a fun game with really smart graphics, don't get me wrong I love games such as The Last of Us, Uncharted, COD, Doom, GTA etc, but for pure gaming joy, always turn to my Wii U :smiley:

The DLC packs are one of the few pieces of DLC I've ever purchased and they are WELL worth it. The new tracks are fantastic, really good fun. I bought them at release and certainly didn't regret it

Yeah, each pack adds 4 new tracks and a several characters. Buy both - they are all really really really good
Totally, I want the super all in pack for Wii U and 3DS but it's SOOO expensive

Bought these up front, downloaded them as they came out. Absolutely incredible amount of content - when it's effectively 50p a track, it's amazing value. Still the only reason I bought a Wii U, and I still don't regret it, despite not having played it for six months.

l can`t believe l do not have Mario 8 Kart!, well the kids broke the screen, and could not be asked when Nintendo was asking a fortune for screen replacement (luckily, found repairer on ebay, good as new) then boys found/discover Pokemon/Dab

Wii U only. Your kid will likely have MK7 which is for 2DS. The new Mario Maker or Mario Party Star Rush games just recently out for 2DS might interest you for Xmas, your son would probably love either.

Doubt it'll update til later. Super Mario Run didn't appear on the App Store until 6pm. Steam doesn't usually update until about 6pm for us, I'm waiting on the sale that's supposed to start today. I think the Xbox sale starts today too? We're all governed by the US timings by the look of it! We'll have to wait until they wake up I'm guessing

Found it! They were looking at the DLC through the Mario Kart game, went out of that to the eshop as suggested and got it at £8.25. Cheers!

Bought it. Can't believe I waited so long. I assumed u wouldn't be able to use the new tracks online, but u can! It's like a while new game. Only saves £3 so was definitely worth full price too, but makes this an even better deal
