Not to sound like a humbug but be careful where you sprinkle this stuff - fine indoors but outside, if it contains sparkly rubbish, it can cause real harm to wildlife who eat it...

And the best part. On the back of the reindeer food bag is says not intended for reindeers.
Plus one for wonky veg. Minus 100 for wasting food in the name of novelty items

Yeh I saw the RSPCA post about that. My daughter made some at a santa visit, and annoyingly it was just oats and seeds but the "chief elf" came around and sprinkled foil stars in the bags before we sealed them. Too small to pick out so we just poured it into a bowl next to Santa's mince pie and milk

Isn't it edible glitter they use? I'd have hoped it was. It's an annoyance of mine when I see it sold with normal glitter.

How about next year just putting some bird seed out and calling it reindeer food,
young kids dont realise the difference.

Why does stuff that isn't edible have an expiry date?

I was just thinking that but I guess as its oats they have to have a expiry date by law
