It's getting cheaper all the time. It's from Instant Gaming & I have had no problems when ordering from them before. It mentions a pre-order Bonus is included but I have no idea what that is.

I don't use PayPal at all so I cannot comment on their charges, but what I will say is that it's extortionate if that's what they charge

These guys give you the full LA noire treatment when you try to put a second order through. They needed screen grabs of my credit card statement and a I.D card, what's bad enough is they had already charged my card but pended the order on their system.
williamwallace to dave859
13 Dec 16#9
I had a company do that to me once. I told them that I am obviously old enough to hold a credit card & they had approved the order using my verified by Visa, so I am unlikely to commit fraud for a few quid. I told them they were getting no further ID from me & to cancel my order immediately. They stood down & apologised & gave me my digital key right away.
donbarney to dave859

yeh I feel the same, I shouldn't have to do screen grabs and taking pictures of this and that, I have never had to before on any site ended up just cancelling my order from them

Same has happened to me wanted to buy 3 games bought the first one then second one rejected order but i have £5000 limit on credit card and it was verified by visa ? I sent them a email asking why and do they want to sell games or not if not i will go somewhere else. I think they are allowing 1 game to go through on credit card and then declining anymore so you buy through paypal that always works if your willing to pay the extra.

Ah, it's worse than it actually used to be. It was 7% of the purchase at one point, which would obviously be around a third of that. We seem to be seeing more and more retailers charging this PayPal usage fee.
I'd buy it at this price but from what I've read, Mafia III is a real resource hog and there's no way my two year old laptop with it's Nvidia 850m GPU is going to cope with 1080p. I might just load up Mafia II and play it through again. It was always one of my favourite games.

I have an 850M in my laptop and i'll be honest: the thing is just a battery drain. I pray for the day when I can afford to replace my laptop - the 850M isn't very good in my personal experience. Mine struggles to play most newer games even on lower settings. I've got a gaming PC and originally wanted to play games on the move with my laptop. The 850M just seems to destroy my battery life. I could seriously go from 100% to 0% in 1 hour if I was playing a game. Without a game going I generally get approx 2 hours 20 mins from my HP laptop.

Unfortunately its true.
Mafia 1/2 amazing games.
Mafia 3 is just repeatitive territory claiming missions that have no real benefit to you, and you have to do them as the main story lines get unlocked through it.
Earning money is easy but ultimately pointless since there's nothing really to buy.

I so wanted this game. Was disappointed by the reviews but picked it up the other week via here for £10.49.
It might be good if it ran properly. First it wouldnt launch, had to **** around with VisualStudio C++ Runtimes. Now it launches but plays like crap on a 2500K @ 4.8GHz, 16GB RAM, R9 390x and SSD. Unplayable.

Shame I was hoping to get this, never played Mafia before but guess I'll start with the previous two
My laptop rarely leaves the house and is permanently attached to the mains. Once you have power, it's not a bad GPU (especially considering it's low price point) and I've played many games in 1080p quite successfully. I'm currently working my way through the Assassin's Creed series but I've also completed Metro Redux, Wolfenstein TNO/Old Blood & the Dead Space series.
I will upgrade at some stage, probably to a laptop with the soon to be released Nvidia 1050 Ti GPU which should be pretty pokey yet still be reasonably priced. However my current laptop is less than two years old so I'm in no rush as yet. However do be aware that these new GPUs will suck power out of your laptop's battery way faster than your existing 850m, so gaming on the move may be more problematic, not less.

Game is a mess but I had fun until it glitched towards the end and couldn't complete it. The graphics can look rubbish at times but other times gorgeous, the driving wasn't great (better than watch dogs 2)m the story was meh and the very repetitive. Majority of the main missions are basically side mission in any other open world game dressed as story missions. The longer you play the more glitchy it gets also....But the gunplay was fantastic as well as the characters. I think it's worth it this price but don't go in expecting a great Mafia game cos it ain't but still fun at the same time.
Immerse yourself in a vast, diverse and seedy open world ruled by the mob and corrupt officials and richly detailed with the sights, sounds and emotionally charged social atmosphere of one of the most turbulent years in American history.
