One of the better reds; hails from SouthWest France where the locals smoke like chimneys, eat massive fatty foie gras, cassoulet etc, but still live to an average of 100 years of age (probably well pickled if it's the wine  ).
Have paid more than twice as much as this in the past, so it's a bit of a nice surprise to see it this low.

Don't know if 'buy six get 25% off' is still available.
Personally prefer to let it breathe for an hour or two. Very nice red. Enjoy. <3

Always good to have a glass or two with a really good meal, Summer; if you haven't any foie gras or cassoulet - trust me - it goes really well with bacon sarnies.

Good to know about Madiran, but the price is £5, dropped from £6. I will wait for the next 25% off as I stocked up already for Christmas.

If you can't wait I'd advise decanting it

Can vouch for this stuff, tastes and looks (bottle-wise) a fair bit more expensive than it is.

Wotwine rates it as worth at least £8 a bottle.
