These are not worth the money. You are better off spending double. Then you can swap out and custom the buttons with sanwa and a new hex.

I've got a custom made stick with sanwa parts and a cthulhu PCB board.
The PCB is not compatible with PS4, and the latest and greatest PCB is about £90!
Anyone knowledgeable able to chip in on whether the PCB in this Mad Catz is any good and harvestable to put in my own stick?

There are two board in it. One for the components and another for the home button etc, then they're daisy chained together.
It could be done but it'd be a bit of faffing. You need to solder home buttons and share etc to the pins on that board. Not really worth the trouble.

The buttons on the mini hori aren't a standard size. You can't swap them out. You canod the madcatz stick, it's tight but doable.

Decent price for it, but be warned, if you have big hands it could be pretty uncomfortable to use.

Probably the Hori then if fighting games are something you play a lot, swap out the buttons for Sanwa ones and if the stick is terrible swap that out too with a Sanwa JLF.
Thats what did for my old Xbox 360 and PC bought a shoddy fighstick, Hori VX, stripped it and just kept the shell and interface PCB, changed it to an 8 button Viewlix layout and added a couple of side buttons to use as flippers for pinball games.

Powerbrick - Which would you say is better out of the two? Or both bad?

the
no its a crap piece of tat, fight sticks are nothing like the ones of old, where they came with decent sticks and buttons, such as Sanwa and Seimitsu, that would last forever.
