Good price for this machine. Probably ideal if you need replacement on a budget or for your first place. But to be honest the reviews make it seem good all around for what you're paying. I ended up with a 5kg model as my first machine (some years ago) and it's still going now, although to be fair we've grown out of the 5kg capacity. Feeding it like a coal train :stuck_out_tongue:
Reviews are good and it's even lower than the offer a few weeks back, by another £20.

- Typically, it's tumble dryers, not washing machines that catch fire
- I can't find any cases of Logik brand washing machines catching fire
- As with the big tumble dryer recall, it wasn't simply the cheap models affected. It was the big brands and a lot of high end models.
Until someone can provide some evidence, I see no reason why Curry's cheapest £149 washing machine is more likely to set your house on fire than a LG or Meile washing machine for over a grand. Although you'd hope they're much better washing machines.

Have the 7kg version of this. I usually don't like to buy cheap appliances but I was broke and needed one - I'm thoroughly impressed. Cotton cycles do take long but cleaning is very good. Spin is fairly quiet, but normal operation is a bit noisier than on more expensive machines.

Got this around 3 weeks ago, it is decent and does the job, little fuss, had issues taking the transport bolts out though.
