The Q&As (some are below) are really useful. I wanted to use this as a base coat, currently struggling to convert dark wall to light. I've concluded this is not the right product. Heat for the price though.
Can this paint be used on ceilings throughout the house, including kitchen and bathroom?
Hello. the Leyland Trade Contract Matt is a highly breatheable product. primarily for new work, this could be used in an area such as a bathroom ceiling. However, due to the quick drying and absorbency of this paint, it is often difficult to achieve a uniform finish. I would suggest the use of a Vinyl Matt instead. Thanks

good price but i wouldnt describe it as high opacity. Iv removed wallpaper all over my house to find bare plaster walls and im having to apply endless coats of this to cover it

Good Paint.
Never thought anything about good paint in the past, but having had to just paint two newly plastered rooms and running out of 20L of Dulex just over half way through 2nd room, I got some Leyland as screw-fix was closest to me.
Far better coverage and easier to apply, and I paid £15 for it.

I also heard a few in the trade say Leyland paint is the bees knees. They won't use Dulux or Johnstons

It most certainly is, and at this price it's significantly cheaper than the trade price at B&Q, which is a shame as I picked up 50 Litres there this morning

Best paint ever! Much better than the leading brands.
